As the Central Zone Quality Inspector, this position ensures quality conformance, performance, and technical objectives are defined, monitored, measured, and achieved.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nWhen required this position will assist and support the Quality Control Manager as follows:\nEnsures effective implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 (or 2026) Quality Management System and Quality Control Plan.\nActs as point of contact with customer quality surveillance entities to ensure that customer requirements and expectations are being achieved.\nConducts performance metric monitoring, measurement, and analysis.\nFacilitates quality related self-assessments using program quality assessment guidelines.\nConducts Quality related training as required (i.e., ISO awareness, root cause analysis, corrective action, process improvement)\nQuality Control Inspector Duties & Responsibilities\nConduct routine and spot inspections of base facilities, housing, public works projects, grounds maintenance, fleet logistics, and janitorial services to verify contract compliance.\nEnsure that day-to-day operations align directly with the approved site Quality Control Plan (QCP) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines.\nEnsure all inspected site operations comply with safety standards, environmental policies, OSHA, and Host Nation mandates.\nCoordinate closely with the Quality Control Manager to present reliable data, records, and performance updates during official government audits and inspections.\n\nMinimum Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nEducation:\nHigh school diploma or Foreign Country equivalent\nExperience:\nA minimum of five years of quality control experience supporting programs similar in scope to the Total Maintenance Contract (e.g.; Facilities operations, preventive maintenance, repair, construction and equipment).\nA minimum of five years of management experience supporting programs similar in scope to the Total Maintenance Contract (e.g.; Facilities operations, preventive maintenance, repair, construction and equipment).\nA minimum of three years performing quality assurance/control functions in an industrial environment managing within an ISO 9001 Quality Standard quality management systems.\nSpecialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nMust possess Level B German language proficiency.\nMust possess knowledge to maintain a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001 2015 (or 2026) quality standard requirements.\nMust be able to maintain an inspection and audit schedule, and perform inspections and audits of procedures, PWS requirements, and work / services verified as acceptable and meeting customer and regulatory requirements.\nPossess the appropriate verbal and written communications skills to conduct meetings, execute plans, and prepare reports, plans, and working instructions.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nCapable of developing management level presentations and reports.\nCertification, License & Clearance:\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred. \nWhile performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. Requires climbing on ladders, scaffolding, and platforms standing, bending, and working in cramped areas; lifting and carrying tools and equipment which occasionally may weigh over 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk and risk of electrical shock.
