This role also supports automation of EDA tool flows and regression activities.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nPerform verification of ASICs and/or FPGAs for high-reliability and security-focused applications\nDevelop verification plans based on design requirements and architecture documentation\nBuild and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and reusable verification components\nCreate directed and constrained-random tests to validate functionality and corner cases\nDevelop assertions, drivers, monitors, predictors, scoreboards, checkers, and coverage models\nExecute simulations and regression test suites; analyze and debug failures\nReview waveforms, logs, and coverage data to identify root causes and drive closure\nCollaborate with RTL design, integration, and other engineering teams to resolve issues\nSupport automation of EDA flows, regressions, and reporting through scripting\nDocument verification results, defects, and test status for technical reviews\nMinimum Requirements:\nBachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering 1-5 years of experience\nSystemVerilog; VHDL familiarity beneficial\nDigital design fundamentals and RTL concepts\nDirected & Constrained random verification\nSystemVerilog Assertions (SVA) or assertion-based verification\nFunctional and code coverage analysis\nDebug using waveforms and simulation logs\nScripting in Python, Tcl, Bash, or similar languages\nFamiliarity with common digital interfaces and subsystem concepts (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, MIPI, LVDS, DMA)\nExperience with EDA tools from Siemens, Cadence, Synopsys, or similar vendors\nUnderstanding of ASIC design and verification flow\nAbility to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance (please note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a US secret clearance)\nPreferred Qualifications:\nActive Secret Clearance\nUniversal Verification Methodology (UVM)\nASIC verification methodologies and testbench creation\nExperience with formal verification methods\nFamiliarity with logic equivalence checking (LEC)\nExposure to clock-domain crossing (CDC) or reset-domain crossing (RDC) analysis\nKnowledge of hardware security verification principles\nExperience with DFT or production test concepts, including ATPG vectors\nFamiliarity with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) workflows\nUnderstanding of STIL/WGL vector syntax\nExperience debugging simulated versus measured waveform discrepancies\nFamiliarity with layout versus schematic (LVS), design rule check (DRC), and broader ASIC signoff activities\nCompensation Details:\n$85,000-$100,000 annuallyThe compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
