In this role, you will work closely with our clients, leading projects from inception through to completion and ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.\nYou will play a key role in coordinating stakeholders, managing project risks and opportunities, and driving successful outcomes across a diverse portfolio of projects.\nThe position is primarily based in Bristol and the surrounding area, with a requirement to be on-site at least one/two days per week, with the remainder of the week offering hybrid or remote working flexibility.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nUnderstand, and deliver in accordance with, organisational policies, processes, and procedures.\nSupport the development and assurance of business cases as part of wider approval processes.\nAnalyse, develop, support, and manage the timely and cost-effective delivery of client projects, meeting business and environmental objectives.\nInfluence, support, and expedite client project delivery through effective planning, monitoring, controlling, and reporting of project performance.\nIdentify and effectively manage project assumptions and dependencies.\nSupport identification of slippage and risk, and implement remedial or mitigating actions, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and management procedures.\nChampion the application of appropriate programme and project delivery strategies and commercial vehicles to secure successful business outcomes.\nEnsure appropriate services to the project are coordinated and delivered through technical, engineering, project controls, commercial, and financial support functions.\nMaintain project records, information, and history accurately and in line with policy.\nEnsure learning from experience is captured and apply continuous improvement techniques to project delivery.\nHere’s What You’ll Need:\nSignificant track record of successfully delivering projects in line with time, cost, and quality constraints.\nAbility to operate autonomously, with authority, and skilled in developing and maintaining key relationships.\nConsultancy focus with a proven history of identifying and delivering client requirements, and the ability to scope wider business opportunities.\nExpertise in P3M practices, methodologies, and techniques, and their appropriate application to varied environments.\nHighly skilled in the provision of coaching and mentoring.\nAbility and willingness to attain security clearance, which includes being resident in the UK for the preceding 5 years.\nDesirable Skills and Qualifications:\nEducated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject.\nAPM PFQ/PMQ qualification.\nStrong knowledge of the Defence industry and experience working in a high-profile Tier 1, Prime, and/or subcontractor organisation.\nMembership of the Association for Project Management (MAPM) is advantageous.\nPRINCE2 or Agile Practitioner qualification.\nManaging Successful Programmes (MSP) Practitioner (desirable but not essential).\nWhat’s in It for You:\nCompetitive salary and benefits package, with unrivalled salary sacrifice schemes available.\nFree single medical cover and digital GP service.\nGenerous pension contributions.\nEnhanced parental leave and family-friendly policies.\nProfessional development support and membership reimbursement.\nAccess to a flexible benefits programme tailored to your needs, including buying or selling up to 10 days’ extra holiday.\nHybrid and flexible working options to support work-life balance.\nOur Culture:\nOur values are built on a strong foundation of safety, integrity, and respect for every individual.
