Primary focus will be on avionics subsystems, and associated support equipment. You will oversee the communications, navigation, monitoring, flight control systems, and other electronic systems vital for safe and efficient operations.\nResponsibilities include:\nOversight of all scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance and direction of maintenance personnel.\n\nSupport maintenance material control, which focuses on system software, and special tools/equipment.\n\nDevelop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure all avionics systems are operational and meet regulatory standards.\n\nEstablish safety protocols for the repair and maintenance of avionics equipment.\n\nOversight of major and minor inspections.\n\nLaunch and recovery of the aircraft\n\nSupply of all Contractor owned spares and support equipment through a Contractor Owned and Maintained Parts (COMP)\n\nRepair and overhaul of all repairable spares at Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified repair stations; maintenance and repair of all support equipment.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n10 years or more of aircraft avionics maintenance experience\n\nPossess a current Federal Communications Commission (FCC) General Radio Telephone Operator License\n\nExperience managing complex aircraft avionics modifications\n\nAbility to obtain and maintain a United States DoD Secret Security Clearance. NOTE: US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a United States DoD Secret Security Clearance.\n\nHigh School Diploma/GED minimally required\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious Naval or Marine Corps service and/or contracting experience\n\nBachelor’s degree in Aerospace/Aviation, Engineering, Logistics, Management, or related field\n\nThree years or more advanced troubleshooting of electronic flight instrument systems.\n\nCompensation Range: $120K - $135K\nCompensation Details:\n120000 - 135000The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
