Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain the clearance.\n\nMust have a valid motor vehicle driver's license.\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n\nFive (5) years of aircraft avionics/electrical related experience required.\n\nPossess a high degree of knowledge and expertise in aircraft electrical/avionics systems.\n\nDemonstrates in-depth knowledge of applicable maintenance/ technical manuals and publications, and special tools and test equipment.\n\nMust be familiar with the operational capabilities and limitations of electrical / avionics systems.\n\nPossess a thorough working knowledge of the detection, prevention, and treatment of corrosion.\n\nMust be able to read, write, understand, and communicate the English language and follow verbal and written instruction.\n\nMust have basic computer data entry skills required for use of Custom Border Protection maintenance and logistics database.\n\nPhysical Requirements/Working Environment\nRequires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.\n\nRequires frequent climbing, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, crouching, kneeling, lifting, carrying, balancing, and reaching above shoulder level, pushing or pulling weight up to 70 pounds.\n\nRequires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.\n\nMust have close vision to include color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
