We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Control Specialist to provide essential support in managing and coordinating project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting activities. In this role, you will ensure that projects are executed on schedule, within scope, and within established budgets while identifying and mitigating risks. The Buyer III will support research and development efforts for Counter-Unmanned Systems (C-UxS) programs.\nResponsibilities: Purchases a variety of materials, supplies and services. Evaluates bids, selects and recommends suppliers and negotiates price, delivery, quality and service. Follows up on all awards until completion of order. Negotiates and settles with suppliers regarding damage claims, rejections, losses, return of materials, over shipments, cancellations and engineering changes. Conducts supplier site visits and rates them as to production capability, performance and delivery.\nSummary: Amentum is seeking a professional with a strong skill set and growing expertise, trusted to lead complex work and contribute to broader team or project goals. \nScope, Knowledge & Application: Applies substantial understanding of the job to complete job duties and responsibilities.
