The Carpenter performs the carpentry duties necessary to maintain in good repair building woodwork and equipment such as bins, cribs, counters, benches, partitions, doors. Work involves most of the following: planning and laying out of work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions, using a variety of carpenter's hand tools, portable power tools and standard measuring instruments, and making standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work; and selecting materials necessary for the work. In general, the work of the maintenance carpenter requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.\nJob Requirements:\nAbility to read blueprints, manuals, and construction drawings.\n\nPerforms all facets of carpentry maintenance and installations.\n\nSkilled in use of tools common to the trade.\n\nMake standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work; and selecting materials necessary for the work.\n\nExperience with door and door hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.\n\nExperience with drywall installation and prep. to level 4.\n\nExperience installing flooring; carpet, carpet tiles, LVP, laminate.\n\nCommunicate well with clients to ensure client satisfaction.\n\nCommunicate well with team members and fellow employees.\n\nKeep detailed reports of work done at various job sites.\n\nPerforms general maintenance tasks necessary for repair.\n\nResponds to maintenance calls, troubleshooting and repairing issues.\n\nPrepares estimates, man hours, materials used and orders items needed for job completion or inventory replacement per established procedures.\n\nFollows all policy, procedures and service standards and complies with all current related safety and health requirements.\n\nAbility to work independently or in a team-driven setting.\n\nBasic decision-making skills; uses independent judgment.\n\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nMinimum Requirements\nHigh school Diploma or GED\n\nValid Real ID Drivers license\n\nCompletion of a formal apprenticeship program with 2 years of experience or 5 years of carpentry experience.\n\nMust possess an active government issued clearance or ability to obtain one at time of application\n\nCompensation Details:\n30The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
