J\nJoin Amentum and be part of a team dedicated to innovation, excellence, and shaping the future of space domain operations.\nEssential Responsibilities\nThe Chief Engineer will provide technical leadership in the following areas:\nComplex radar-system sustainment and restoration;\nGround-based radar engineering;\nFault isolation and root-cause analysis;\nOrganizational and depot-level maintenance;\nEDLM, UDLM, Engineering Assistance, and Technical Assistance support;\nHardware/software integration;\nSystem Integration Laboratory operations, integration, and testing;\nTest planning, test execution, and verification;\nConfiguration management and technical-baseline integrity;\nReliability, Availability, Maintainability, and DMSMS/obsolescence management;\nTechnical-data, drawings, procedures, and engineering-change support;\nCybersecurity impact assessment and coordination;\nSystem safety, hazard management, and quality assurance.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, hard science, or mathematics plus 14 years applicable experience, including ground-based radar experience; or advanced degree plus 12 years applicable experience, including ground-based radar experience;\nDemonstrated technical leadership relevant to large ground-based phased-array radar operations, maintenance, sustainment, depot support, system engineering, configuration management, failure analysis, test, software/hardware integration, obsolescence, and cybersecurity impact assessment;\nAvailability for the approved CDOS hours/FTE, duty location, travel, and classified-access requirements.\nSecurity Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret US Government Clearance.
