The resources will provide specialist advice across tactical communications, SATCOM, Link 16, JREAP/JDN, network architectures, battle management systems, ADF and coalition interoperability and communication requirements.\nRole :\nIdentify communications systems, network components, tactical data links and information exchange requirements included within the LAND 6504 capability solution.\nCollect and analyse communications architecture, network design and interoperability data from Defence, Industry, OEM and FMS stakeholders.\nSupport communications and data link integration activities with key Defence, Industry, CIOG, JCG and Coalition stakeholders.\nAssess tactical communications, Link 16, JREAP/JDN, SATCOM and network architectures for any other networks against operational requirements and capability objectives.\nSupport development of FPS for Network and communication requirements.\nConduct comparative capability assessments of network and communications solutions considering operational effectiveness, interoperability, maturity, integration complexity and future growth potential.\nConduct risk and opportunity analysis associated with communications architecture, tactical data links, spectrum management, network integration and information exchange requirements.\nAssess communications network performance considering different operational scenarios, threat environments, force structures and ADF integration requirements.\nSupport development of communications architecture products, System Architecture Documents (SAD), Interface Registers and Interface Control Documents (ICD).\nAssess interoperability requirements across Joint Fires, Battle Management Systems (BMS), Joint and Coalition networks and Defence enterprise systems.\nIdentify communications, network, interoperability and integration risks and recommend mitigation strategies to support capability effectiveness and acquisition outcomes.\nSupport development of engineering evidence, technical recommendations and architecture products required for Combined Pass activities.\nMandatory requirements:\n- Minimum NV1 clearance with ability to obtain NV2.
