Job Responsibilities The Compressed Air Systems Operator is responsible for the operation, monitoring, and basic maintenance of compressed air systems in accordance with Navy operational standards and facility requirements. Responsibilities include starting, stopping, and monitoring compressors, dryers, receivers, and associated equipment to ensure reliable delivery of compressed air to supported systems and operations. The operator conducts routine inspections, monitors system pressures and performance indicators, and records operational data in logs and reports. This role includes identifying abnormal conditions, responding to alarms, and notifying maintenance or supervisory personnel of system irregularities in accordance with established procedures.
