Team members are encouraged to expand their expertise through training opportunities, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on experience with a wide range of technologies supporting complex operational environments.\nWork Schedule: (shift hours and days of the week)\n8hrs/day, 5days per week, all onsite\nEssential Responsibilities: ( describe the day-to-day )\nServe as the program's Configuration Manager, owning configuration management processes, baseline integrity, asset accountability, and change control activities across multiple operational environments.\nCoordinate, track, and document hardware, software, and infrastructure configuration changes using established change management processes.\nAdminister and maintain configuration records, asset inventories, and baseline documentation to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.\nUtilize Jira, Confluence, and other configuration management tools to log, track, document, and report configuration changes, requests, and approvals.\nSupport Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) by preparing documentation, tracking actions, and ensuring approved changes are properly implemented and recorded.\nMaintain accurate inventories of government and company-owned assets, including hardware, software licenses, and associated support documentation.\nMaintain lifecycle visibility of program assets from procurement through deployment, sustainment, technology refresh, and disposition.\nPartner with Program Managers, Engineering, Security, and Operations teams to support system lifecycle planning, technology refresh efforts, procurement activities, and asset disposition.\nAssist with procurement tracking by maintaining records of equipment purchases, warranties, maintenance agreements, and lifecycle replacement schedules.\nConduct configuration audits and reviews to verify compliance with established standards, contractual requirements, and organizational policies.\nGenerate configuration status accounting reports and provide metrics to program leadership regarding inventory, asset lifecycle status, and change activity.\nSupport customer, internal, and external audits by providing configuration management documentation and evidence of compliance.\nIdentify opportunities to improve configuration management processes, workflows, and tool utilization to enhance program efficiency.\nWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:\nStandard working environment\nMinimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):\n5+ years of experience in Configuration Management, Asset Management, IT Operations, Systems Engineering support, or a related technical discipline.\nExperience maintaining hardware and software inventories in a controlled enterprise or government environment.\nDemonstrated experience managing baseline configurations, change requests, and configuration documentation.\nExperience using Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar workflow and documentation management platforms.\nWorking knowledge of configuration management principles, configuration status accounting, change control processes, and lifecycle management practices.\nExperience supporting Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), audits, or compliance activities.\nExperience supporting hardware and software asset management within a network, systems, or enterprise IT environment.\nExperience coordinating activities among engineering, operations, security, and program management stakeholders.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain detailed records.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate activities across technical and non-technical teams.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nActive TS/SCI security clearance required.\nSecurity Clearance Required:\nTS / SCI\nMinimum Education:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nPreferred\nBachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field\nundefinedMinimum Years of Experience: 5+Required Certifications:This is an IAM2 level billet.
