This position provides construction surveillance services at selected Government facilities being constructed within the United States.\nWork Schedule:\nMonday-Friday 1pm-9pm\nEssential Responsibilities:\nProvide basic physical security in accordance with Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) policies and Intelligence Community Standard (ICS) 705-1, -Physical and Technical Standards for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities).\nConduct surveillance and understand the construction trades to closely monitor all construction activities and materials to ensure the security integrity of the building.\nInspect, detect and report any unauthorized technical penetrations and thwart implanted clandestine technical collection devices.\nWork closely with the assigned Government Site Security Manager (SSM) to ensure all established security policies and procedures are followed.\nSupplement site security access controls implement screening and inspection procedures and monitor uncleared construction personnel in accordance with the Construction Security Plan (CSP).\nConduct inspections of Protected Distribution System (PDS) and report any anomalies to the SSM.\nThe Construction Surveillance Technician must have the ability to:\nAbility to stand for 4 hours or longer per day.\nMust be able to work in inclement weather conditions including extreme heat, extreme cold, humidity, and various other adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time.\nThis position may require lifting (up to 20 lbs.), standing, walking, sitting, and bending throughout the workday.\nMust be able to walk across uneven surfaces, climb ladders, and able to frequently go up and down stairs.\nMust be flexible to work all shifts and weekends to meet the customers’ requirements.\nMust be able to make logical, mentally competent, and safe decisions when working on a construction site.\nMinimum Requirements:\nHigh School diploma or GED required.\nMust be a U.S. citizen.\nMinimum of three years’ experience in the construction industry with knowledge of two or more of the following disciplines:Carpentry (rough-in, finish)\nElectricity\nPlumbing\nHVAC\nSheet Metal\nWelding\nDry Wall\nMasonry\n\nKnowledge of construction safety, construction project cycles, and common nomenclature of material/equipment.\nRead, speak and, understand English language fluently.\nAbility to complete written reports and forms.\nProvide excellent customer service skills.\nSecurity Clearance Required: TS/SCI with poly\nMinimum Education: HS diploma or GED\nMinimum Years of Experience: 3+ years of CST experience or focus in two or more trades.\nOther Responsibilities:\nSafety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
