Duties include, but are not limited to:\nPreparing a wide variety of meals, including menu items that require extensive and complex preparation.\nEnsuring menu offerings align with nutritional guidelines, maintaining high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.\nMaintaining food preparation, storage, serving, and eating areas at the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.\nProviding professional and courteous service to ensure a satisfying and relaxing atmosphere for all customers.\nPreparing complete meals according to the menu and ensuring all listed food items are available to the maximum extent practical.\nIdentifying and marking unavailable items on the menu and communicating item shortages appropriately.\nReceiving mandatory food sanitation training, including four hours within the first 30 days of employment and an additional four hours annually.\nCollaborating with other food service personnel to meet production schedules, maintain efficiency, and ensure customer satisfaction.\nMonitoring the quality and safety of food ingredients and ensuring proper storage to prevent spoilage.\nSupporting in the preparation of snacks, fast food, and beverages as needed.\nAccurately following recipes, portion guidelines, and preparation instructions.\nMinimum Requirements\nA minimum of two years of satisfactory experience in preparing and serving a variety of complex menu items.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nKnowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the willingness and ability to complete mandatory food sanitation training (four hours within the first 30 days of employment and four hours annually).\nExcellent organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple cooking tasks.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to consistently follow recipes and preparation instructions.\nAbility to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance for the duration of deployment.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.\nEmployees must read, speak, and comprehend English to the extent that they can perform the contract requirements and comply with installation emergency procedures.\nPassport must be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.\nAbility to obtain country-specific visas per the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.\nAbility to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance throughout the duration of deployment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior experience in an austere OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) environment with a multi-national workforce.\nValid country driver’s license.\nCountry visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide).\nFamiliarity with preparing meals for large dining facilities or military food service operations.\nExperience ensuring consistent inventory levels and notifying management of potential shortages.\nProven ability to uphold high sanitation standards while working in high-demand food service environments.\nStrong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues or concerns effectively.\nOther Responsibilities\nSafety\nAmentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment. Employees may work in office, industrial, warehouse, port, airfield, and outdoor environments and may be exposed to high temperatures, humidity, inclement weather, noise, dust, and uneven terrain. Work schedules may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on operational requirements.\nPhysical Requirements\nRequirements may include prolonged sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, and working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
