As NASA’s largest engineering solutions provider working together with NASA at centers across the United States.\nWe have an exciting opportunity for a Cryogenics Mechanical Engineer t o join the team with Bastion, a teammate company!\nThe Cryogenics Mechanical Engineer will:\nPerform engineering design and analysis for cryogenic components, vacuum jacketed and warm piping systems, and associated mechanical systems.\nDevelop procurement and fabrication documentation, including Statements of Work, specifications, and engineering drawings.\nCoordinate with vendors and fabricators, participate in design reviews, and witness key testing activities.\nSupport facility operations for 20 K helium systems, 80 K liquid nitrogen storage, and distribution systems.\nProvide troubleshooting, maintenance guidance, and technical oversight during equipment assembly, installation, and commissioning.\nPrepare and participate in safety reviews, hazard analyses, operational procedures, and engineering review boards.\nCollaborate with multi-disciplined engineering teams and present design and technical findings.\nThis is an on-site role.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequisition Qualifications:\nThis position has been posted at multiple levels.
