The DTPS may design, implement and administer structured training curriculum, professional development, planning, certification and hands-on training and administration of duties related to the requirements set forth in contract PWS all IAW Amentum leadership, international, US, DLA, PWS, and industry requirements/standards/criteria, while maintaining safety as the highest priority.\nDTPS shall have the ability to deploy globally in support of emerging requirements, within 48 hours of notification.\nDuties may include, but not be limited to the following:\nTrain all Distribution Contractor personnel to use Government-Furnished transactional data systems to include WMS and other IT Data Systems as specified in the Task Order, prior to the Task Order start date. \nTrain new hires and deliver refresher courses.\nSupervising warehousing, safety and task activities.\nDevelop course materials, manuals, and other educational content that is clear, accurate, and tailored to the audience.\nConduct needs assessments to tailor training according to the needs of the organization and individual roles.\nFacilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, and on-the-job coaching.\nEvaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and make improvements as necessary.\nRepresent the organization professionally at internal and external meetings and forums.\nCollaborate with other trainers, managers, and government POC’s to ensure alignment of training with organizational goals.\nManage the logistics of training sessions, including schedules, resources, and technology.\nMaintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.\nStay updated with the latest advancements in training methodologies and administrative technologies.\nManage day-to-day execution and oversight.\nEnsuring compliance, performance and reporting requirements are met successfully.\nRecommend, develop, implement, and enforce procedures/programs to increase efficiency and improve cost effectivenessto the program.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nAt least four (4) years of training specialist experience\nOne (1) year of experience as a supervisor/work leader\nExperience supervising logistics teams\nExcellent organizational and time management skills\nStrong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel\nValid US or local driver's license and US passport\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain Secret Clearance.\nAs needed, ability to successfully pass any medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of any deployment\nCountry visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide)\nEDUCATION\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nOTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES\nExperience providing excellent customer service in supporting government contract responsibilities in an OCONUS environment.\nOCONUS work experience with a multi-national workforce\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules and under pressure of deadlines while maintaining performance standards\nStrong analytical capabilities with respect to metrics and process improvement\nWORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONS\nDepending on location and travel, position may be typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.\nMay also be required to travel to CONUS or OCONUS locations to an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere desert-like environment. Temperatures can reach 120-130 degrees Fahrenheit / 50-55 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors.
