The position will provide engineering support involving Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3), radio frequency (RF) engineering, modeling and simulation, and EMI/EMC testing and analysis.\nE3 RF Engineer Responsibilities Include:\nPerform E3 computation and RF modeling and simulation.\nDevelop detailed EMI/EMC test plans.\nParticipate in EMI/EMC test planning meetings and test readiness reviews.\nPerform EMI/EMC testing.\nGather, reduce, and analyze resulting test data.\nPrepare and publish detailed EMI/EMC test reports.\nReview technical documentation.\nProvide technical meeting support.\nSupport the test, evaluation, integration, and configuration of C5ISR systems.\nMinimum Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.\n Six (6) years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Naval Architecture.\n Four (4) years of experience in the theoretical and practical aspects of Research, Development, Test, Engineering, or Integration related to warfare systems or electronic systems.\nDemonstrated experience in one or more of the following technical areas: RF and Microwave Engineering; EMP; E3; EMI/EMC; E3 Computation and RF Simulation; E3/EMI/EMC/PCI Testing; Defense Acquisition Engineering; EM problem investigation; E3 instructions, standards, policies, and procedures; Spectrum; EMC; or RADHAZ Certification.\nExperience with EMI/EMC analysis and assessment, EMI planned maintenance systems (PMS), USN Optimized Fleet Response Plan (O-FRP), EMI control and mitigation, and EMI control or measurement drawings.\n Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance. (At a minimum, must receive/be approved for an Interim Secret security clearance in order to start.) Note: U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a Secret clearance.\nCompensation Details:\n$80,000-$140,000The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
