This project provides the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Futures Command, U.S. Special Forces and the U.S. Marine Corps integration of C5ISR operational prototypes onto a range Military Weapon Systems & Platforms (air, ground & sea) as well as performing C5ISR prototyping, integration, and testing support based on Real-World emerging needs of the Warfighter.\nJob Duties and Responsibilities:\nWork as an Electrical Engineer that oversees prototype/ limited manufacturing programs focused on C5ISR programs. \nProvide technical leadership in the development of concepts, technical data packages, and oversees fabrication of electrical hardware systems.\nWork with other engineers to ensure quality, safety and logistics concerns related to systems designs are met. \nAssist in the preparation of test plans to demonstrate the effectiveness of the design packages and present the results of the design and test phases and work with customers by providing estimates for work and tracking expenditures. \nOversee the set up and operation of a full range of electrical fabrication tools found in a well-equipped prototype development shop. \nWork from engineering design drawings and technical specifications. \nOversee the design and testing of a range of systems like wiring harnesses, power cables, communication cabling, electrical component brackets. \nOversee the use of test equipment to ensure performance of electoral cables, assemblies and COTS components. \nPlan and oversee the Fabrication and construction of mechanisms, models and instruments that fulfill engineering requirements. \nWork independently, with minimal supervision.\nPlan programs being performed on these systems include providing estimates for work and tracking expenditures. \nWork with other engineers to design systems \nRequired Qualifications:\nBS in Electrical engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related scientific /technical discipline with five (5) years of experience. \nMust be capable of planning, coordinating, and directing the activities of administrative, program, and technical personnel. \nMust have a thorough understanding and experience in the complete life-cycle management of military systems. \nMust have knowledge and experience with Department of Defense (DOD)/Army plans, policies, standards, and methods aimed at the acquisition and support of military systems. \nMust be capable of managing and controlling schedules and cost to provide on time, within budget, performance of all aspects of the contractual effort. \nMust be capable of providing direction for operations and ensuring compliance with all management policies, plans, and procedures.\nMust be capable of providing recommendations for resolution of technical problems. \nExperience in the manufacture of communications-electronics or military systems\nKnowledge of Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) operation\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance.
