Additionally, incumbents may participate in work that requires walking, bending, squatting, and carrying materials throughout the facility. Workplace conditions necessitate following strict safety guidelines and the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Employees may be assigned other job-related duties, within the classification, to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.\nMinimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):\nJourneyman Electrician license.\nPossess a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical apparatus and control circuitry maintenance.\nPossess a strong background in low voltageswitchgear maintenance and repair.\nMust be thoroughly familiar with electrical test equipment.\nAbility to write as well as comprehend written and oral instructions\nA willingness to work rotational shifts if necessary, including days, evenings, and nights, as well as overtime, weekends, and holidays, as required.\nPossess knowledge of current NEC regulations.\nSecurity Clearance Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen, able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance.\nMinimum Education: Highschool, technical school, apprenticeship, trade school graduate or equivalent required.\nMinimum Years of Experience: Eight years’ experience in the electrical trade in maintenance and/or construction required.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster electrician license.\nNFPA-70E Training.\nOSHA 10 Training.\nCPR Training.\nAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization\nThis position is designated as a safety sensitive position.\nAs part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, Amentum is a drug-free workplace and requires all personnel to comply with company drug and alcohol policies as a condition of employment.
