Performs organizational and intermediate (O&I) type maintenance and repairs to aircraft, targets, radar, COMSEC material and other associated equipment in the Aerial Targets contract.\nTypical work may include: Operates, inspects, repairs, maintains, services, rebuilds, modifies and troubleshoots AATTCS and Range Communications.\nApplies technical knowledge to perform duties using manufacturer manuals, technical orders, regulations and COTS publications and other written documentation.\nAssists in the development and installation of modifications associated with aircraft and targets, communications and control systems, test and support equipment associated with the Aerial Targets Program.\nApplies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex depot level problems including those that cannot be solved using manufacturers’ manuals, technical orders, etc. pertaining to the operations and maintenance of electrical/electronic equipment and aircraft associated with Aerial Targets contract.\nInitiates, edits technical documentation and drawings to reflect authorized modifications and configuration changes.\nMaintains maintenance records and enters maintenance actions in forms and/or automated records.\nProvides technical data for completion of AFTO Form 22s, QDRs, MDRs, etc.\nProvides technical guidance and training to equal or lower level personnel. May be required to perform work of lower technical level personnel.\nPerforms other duties, related tasks within their classifications as assigned by a Supervisor.\nMinimum Requirements\nAssociate’s degree in Electronic Technology, Engineering or similar discipline. Management may allow work experience to be substituted for degree depending on the type and length of experience.\nWill be required to perform work as a tower climber.\nOvertime, weekend and TDY work may be required.\nMust possess or obtain an active CompTIA A+ or higher cyber security certification within 90 days of start date.\nSecret security clearance is required. Applicants selected must be a US Citizen in order to apply for a Secret Security Clearance. Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.\nThis position is represented by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). This agreement offers eligible employees: medical, vision, dental, STD and life insurance, Vacation accruals starting at 80 hours per year, accrued at 1.54 hours weekly, Sick leave, Paid Holidays-Twelve (12) per calendar year, and 401K.
