Prepares design specifications, analyses and recommendations for presentation and approval. Has technical responsibility for planning, organizing and conducting technical projects or phases of projects involving design and development of new or improved product and/or processes. Investigates solutions to product and/or process problems. Consolidates results of mechanical design elements for assigned projects. Coordinates the efforts of drafters/designers, engineering technicians, and machine shop personnel as required by assigned projects. Conducts independent technical investigations involving the origination or modification of material, component or process specifications and requirements.\nAdditional Information:\nQualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.\nThis position may require a valid Driver’s License.\nThis position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.\nThis position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location.\nThis position may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.\nSpecial Requirements: \nWear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.\nCope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.\nMinimum Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.\n4+ years of relevant experience with associate's degree; 0-2 years of relevant experience with Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s degree, and or combination of experience and education.\nCompensation Details:\n$85,000 - 100,000The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
