You will align client IT architectures with their business goals and objectives, playing a crucial role in ensuring that IT systems and processes support clients’ overall strategies and enabling them to achieve long-term objectives.\nKey Responsibilities:\nBusiness Strategy Alignment: Analyse clients’ business strategy and objectives, identifying critical success factors and areas where IT can contribute to achieving them.\n\nIT Infrastructure and Systems: Evaluate clients’ existing IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network components, assessing its effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement.\n\nEnterprise Architecture Modelling: Develop and maintain comprehensive enterprise architecture models that represent clients’ IT landscapes, including business processes, data flows, and technology components.\n\nIT Strategy and Roadmap: Formulate long-term IT strategies that align with clients’ business goals and objectives, outlining future investments, initiatives, and technology adoption plans.\n\nProject Governance and Oversight: Guide and oversee IT projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring that they align with the enterprise architecture and business objectives.\n\nInnovation and Technology Assessment: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organisation and recommending appropriate adoption strategies.\n\nCommunication and Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders across different levels of the clients’ organisation, including executives, business units, and IT teams, to ensure alignment and buy-in.\n\nRisk Management and Compliance: Identify and assess IT-related risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.\n\nContinuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance clients’ IT architectures, ensuring that they remains aligned with business needs and adapting to evolving business conditions.\n\n Here's What You'll Need:\nDegree qualified in a relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent experience.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to architect solutions to complex challenges.\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.\n\nAbility to produce high-quality technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nAbility to lead, mentor, and collaborate within high-performing teams.\n\nExperience:\nExperience working within the UK MOD or Critical National Infrastructure.\n\nAt least 5 years’ experience working on Defence or CNI IT systems.\n\n Standards & Frameworks:\nDesirable qualifications/certifications (any of):\nTOGAF 9.\n\nUnified Architecture Framework.\n\nOpen Group Certified Architect (Open CA).\n\nArchiMate Certified Expert.\n\nIT4IT Foundation.\n\nCertified Solution Architect: AWS or Azure.\n\n Our Culture:\nOur values stand on a foundation of safety, integrity, inclusion, and diversity.
