This will include technical assessment and investigation of proposed isolation and configuration changes to utilities, equipment and infrastructure. \nAdditionally, Facilities Shift Operator will be called upon to react and provide emergency response ensuring site service interruptions are avoided and all critical components are operational. This will include performing maintenance and repair activities on a wide variety of equipment and infrastructure. \nThis is a diverse, multi-facetted position within a team of specialised experts who have control over and maintain a unique site. As a member of this team, you will join one of 4 shift teams on a 3x nights, 1x day off, 3x days, 5 days off roster (12hr shifts) to guarantee 24/7 support and coverage to the facility and all utilities and equipment.\nWork Schedule:\n3x nights, 1x day off, 3x days, 5 days off roster (12hr shifts)\nEssential Responsibilities:\nOperate and maintain facility infrastructure, systems and equipment.\nEffect the day-to-day operation and maintenance of allocated facility infrastructure, equipment and systems.\nCoordinate and execute configuration changes on assigned facility systems and associated equipment, in line with scheduled and reactive requirements. Staff and operate the Facility Control Centre (FCC), to include tracking of real-time site-wide impairment status, resource location and permitting.\nCoordinate and execute rapid and reliable response to abnormal facility operational situations and emergencies; including equipment repair when necessary.\nEffectively liaise and communicate with peers to ensure best-practice standardization, coverage and continuous individual and team improvement.\nDeliver training necessary to develop and maintain the competence of facilities staff.\nConduct review and analysis of trend data; identifying, recommending, and implementing any necessary modifications, expansions and/or additions to relevant standard operating procedures, emergency response plans or maintenance task lists. Develop, review and execute primary utility transfer and switching procedures.\nIdentify and execute system and equipment preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance and/or repair tasks as required, scheduled or directed.\nMonitor and facilitate the update of technical drawings, panel schedules and equipment operating procedures.\nMaintain a complete and current working understanding of all relevant operational facilities infrastructure, equipment and systems.\nMaintain safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing site environmental health and safety (EHS) policies and procedures; complying with applicable Work Health Safety (WHS) Act standards\nAny other reasonable duties as required by the direct line manager or delegate\nWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:\nFacilities Shift Operators should be able to perform general trades-based tasks and physical work of light to moderately heavy physicality\nThe position will also require some extended periods sitting and working in an office space monitoring equipment via HMI. Additionally, there may be extended periods of office work reading and interpreting plans and completing technical documentation\nThe position may also call for extended periods of manual trade-based labour and time on feet working with tools and equipment\nAttention to detail and high concentration levels are required along with the ability to multi task and perform thorough decision-making processes\nExperiences:\nDemonstrated experience in Site facilities operations and maintenance\nDemonstrated experience and understanding of Site facilities systems, infrastructure and equipment\nCompetencies:\nTechnical Competencies\nCompletion of all relevant and directed system and role-based training requirements\nProficiency in applying best practice operations, technical and management principles\nStrong understanding of Work Health Safety (WHS) Act, and EHS policies & procedures\nStrong understanding of facilities equipment and functionality\nStrong understanding of facilities O&M requirements\nStrong understanding of equipment maintenance requirements (preventive, predictive, & corrective)\nDemonstrated high level problem solving, decision making and analytical skills\nDemonstrated experience in SCADA, SAP, Microsoft Office, and other relevant computer applications\nBehavioral Competencies\nSelf-starter, demonstrated ability and interest in identifying and resolving problems\nWell-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills\nDemonstrated resilience, flexibility, and adaptability\nAbility to manage and resolve conflict at the lowest level\nAbility to identify and understand intent and follow direction\nUphold the Code of Conduct and adhere to Program and Company Policies\nDisplay a high standard of professionalism, fostering an ethical and inclusive work environment.\nDedication to safety and compliance with all relevant EHS policies and procedures\nA mission focus and drive to maintain operational capability to the customer\nSecurity Clearance Required:\nIt is a condition of employment at JDFPG that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role.
