Provides and / or schedules needed training and cross-training for multi-functional employees. Implements all safety rules and guidelines for all Amentum employees.\nThe Facility Maintenance Supervisor is also responsible for scheduling, planning, documentation, maintaining performance and reporting with Amentum management team and client.\nResponsibilities:\nMonitors and/or manages the entry of correct documentation and scheduled maintenance via Maximo/SAP.\nManages reactive/corrective maintenance as it is reported and distributes to available technicians.\nLeads safety program for the worksite and maintains reporting associated with safety activities.\nAudits work performance for safety actions and quality of work, and provide coaching as needed.\nReviews new job requests to differentiate between in-scope and non-scope work and addresses accordingly.\nMaintains effective performance of individual employees and the worksite team.\nReviews and approves time reporting.\nCompiles, maintains and presents various reports to Amentum management and client teams.\nParticipate and Document Cost savings and Root Cause Analysis.\nOther duties as assigned by Manager.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree or equivalent trade school credentials preferred.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suites with emphasis on the ability to navigate and formulate within Excel and Access\nExperience in a supervisory or subcontract management capacity within a technical industrial or manufacturing environment\nExperience in a leadership position demonstrating the ability to analyze Facilities Maintenance related problems (e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Cranes and Hoists, etc.); then recognize and determine solutions (engineered or otherwise) for resolution. This includes but is not limited to; opportunities for improved asset reliability, improved quality results, safer work conditions, and lower maintenance cost, improved work plans to increase efficiency.\nExperience creating Power Point presentation and giving presentation in front of large audiences\nExperience with the development and training of a multi-skilled technical workforce\nExperience in creating metrics and data mining for driving performance results\nExperience utilizing Continuous Improvement disciplines such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, 4 M’s, etc.\n Additional Information:\nQualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.\nThis position may require a valid Driver’s License.\nThis position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.\nThis position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location.\nHigh school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.\nFive years of maintenance experience in one of the following trades, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience: Industrial HVAC/ Industrial Mechanical Machine Repair, or Automotive Repair.\nAbility to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher.\nMay require additional licensing per state regulations.\nPhysical Requirements:\nRequires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.\nRequires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift.\nRequires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift.\nRequires the ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift.\nRequires the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift.\nRequires the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift.\nRequires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.\nRequires the use of a Company/Client approved utility knife.\nRequires the ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding.\nSome tasks will require repetitive wrist movement.\nRequires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.\nSome tasks will require repetitive wrist movement.\nSome tasks will require the ability to walk extensively throughout facilities during a workday.\nRequires the ability to climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs as needed during a workday.\nRequires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat, kneel, reach/stretch, and move in a 90-degree fashion during workday.\nRequires the ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding.\nRequires ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents or displayed on a computer screen.\nRequires ability to use a variety of office equipment and to operate a computer keyboard to access data bases, to send/receive messages and to prepare documents.\nRequires ability to attend meetings throughout the site and potentially travel to other Amentum, customer and/or vendor locations in the area, as well as some air travel to more distant locations.\nRequires the ability to communicate with others on the telephone and in one-on-one or group discussions, meetings and presentations.\nDemonstrated fluency in computer use including the full Microsoft product line.\nRequires some moving of light to medium weight materials into desks, filing cabinets and other storage locations.\nRequires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.\nSpecial Requirements:\nWear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.\nCope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.\nOther Attributes:\nMust be willing to work overtime when required.\nMay be required to work holidays and weekends.\nWork schedules can change based on critical business needs.\nCompensation Details:\n85000.00The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
