You will deliver key CDRLs such as a Contract Funds Status Report (CFSR), CAMT, and present data in a monthly BMR. You'll also be involved in many different activities of running an international program. You'll be joined by a team of OCONUS teammates mostly located together. This role embraces teamwork while also owning processes which will give you an opportunity to align yourself through many of Amentums' core values of meeting commitments, embracing collaboration, and taking on challenges with courage.\nThe Financial Analyst will be required to have relevant experience in financial management and analysis, specifically in the Government Contracting accounting realm.\nThe ideal candidate will have experience in developing, maintaining, and presenting financial reports, including financial planning and analysis, for internal and customer stakeholders. Knowledge of relevant cost centers (labor, travel, materials) and indirect cost applications for each is expected. This position is contingent upon business needs, security clearance verification, and funding availability.\nWork Schedule:\nOnsite Day shift - 5 days per week, 8 hours per day\nEssential Responsibilities:\nPrepare and maintain Contract Funds Status Reports (CFSRs) and other financial reports for Government review. Reports and required CDRL’s include, actuals, open commitments, accruals, and PR/PO aging’s.\nFormulates and administers financial projections and preparation of cash flow forecast to ensure that financial and operating reports accurately reflect the condition of the business.\nReviews, approves and submits invoices to customers. Monitors billing status, payment status and unbilled issues, and works to resolve issues in a timely manner to manage DSO. Provide supporting documents as required.\nExecute the financial analysis of budgets and schedules for multiple projects including comparing budget vs actuals/forecast\nAssists with development of assigned contract long range planning financial programs in accordance with objectives for growth and profitability.\nParticipate and provide input to project forecast meetings.\nEnsures program costs are accurately collected by maintaining active charge numbers, monitoring actual charges, and processing transfers when appropriate.\nCoordinates, negotiates and resolves financial compliance issues with various governmental agencies to ensure accurate interpretation of contract requirements.\nContributes to quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs) and able to effectively communicate impacts to revenue/cost/profit.\nEnsures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as FAR, other government regulations, GAAP, and CAS requirements. \nWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:\nThe position is desk based and sedentary in nature, the ability to lift items up to 5kgs may be required occasionally and participating in Site walks occasionally\nMinimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):\nDue to the nature of the work, the candidate must be a U.S. citizen.\nBachelor’s degree in an Accounting, Finance or related degree preferred.\nSix (6) years progressively responsible experience in accounting and/or finance.\nRelevant experience in government contracting for multiple type contracts (CPFF, FFP, T&M).\nHighly organized, able to meet deadlines and manage shifting priorities\nHigh degree of personal integrity; ability to maintain confidentiality.\nAbility to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment, as required.\nKnowledge of accounting that includes spreadsheets and relational databases programs for data processing techniques.\nKnowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).\nExcellent communication, effective leadership and interpersonal skills.\nWorking knowledge of United States Government Accounting practices.\nManage workloads effectively including adapting to changes, planning, organizing and prioritizing work\nTeam player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nMulti-tasker with strong communication and interpersonal skills.\nAble to recognize and research issues and make recommendations/decisions based on that research.\nKnowledge of various computer programs; Microsoft Suite, Deltek CostPoint, Cognox/Hyperion, PowerBI\nExperience using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Sharepoint and PowerPoint. \nIntermediate knowledge of Excel and Excel functions, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables.\nSecurity Clearance Required:\nIt is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role.
