This role performs a wide range of general maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance, functionality, and safety of building systems, equipment, and facility infrastructure. If you enjoy working in a hands-on, team-oriented environment, we want to hear from you!\nShift: 2nd Shift | Hours: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM (hours may vary based on business needs).\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems, including:\n\nLighting systems, conveyor systems, overhead cranes, R.O. systems, dock locks, and levelers.\n\nPumps, piping, seals, and valves.\n\nForklifts, industrial batteries, and HVAC systems (VAVs, AHUs).\n\nMaintain and repair facility structures, including walls, flooring, windows, doors, hardware, and roofing systems.\n\nAssemble and install shelving, cabinets, and office furniture.\n\nConduct preventive maintenance activities as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).\n\nTroubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including motors, compressors, plumbing, and water systems.\n\nRespond to customer service requests while ensuring compliance with regulations, codes, and standards.\n\nSafely operate various equipment (e.g., forklifts, hoists, aerial lifts, and diagnostic tools) to perform maintenance tasks.\n\nAdhere to proper safety procedures, such as job hazard analysis, lockout/tag-out, and PPE use.\n\nRecommend process or equipment maintenance improvements.\n\nAssist specialized technicians with facility-related repairs and maintenance.\n\nDocument work, repairs, and inspections in CMMS and other systems accurately.\n\nMinimum Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n\n1+ year of experience in maintaining buildings, facilities, or equipment in an industrial/commercial environment OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nAbility to safely work on and around 480V 3-phase electrical systems.\n\nAbility to work from aerial or scissor lifts at heights of up to 30 feet.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience repairing industrial and commercial lighting systems and controls.\n\nAbility to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair:\n\n480V 3-phase electrical systems.\n\nHVAC, conveyor, and R.O. systems to OEM specifications.\n\nPumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, steam components (up to 100 psi), cranes/hoists, and other machinery.\n\nExperience performing maintenance on overhead and service doors.\n\nBasic plumbing maintenance experience.\n\nFamiliarity with CMMS platforms to document maintenance tasks.\n\nExperience operating forklifts and aerial lifts safely.\n\nAdditional Requirements:\nSuccessfully pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.\n\nValid Driver’s License (if required by the client).\n\nU.S. work authorization (sponsorship not available).\n\nAbility to obtain a security access badge for worksite entry.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nRegularly lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.\n\nFrequently climb ladders, kneel, bend, squat, stretch, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.\n\nWalk extensively across the facility during shifts.\n\nIdentify wire color codes and perform repetitive wrist movements.\n\nMaintain professionalism and a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients under pressure.\n\nNote: Steel-toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other PPE are required.\n\nCompensation Details:\n20.00-23.00The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
