You will work as part of a team using the latest survey technologies, undertaking topographical surveys, measured building surveys, laser scanning, levelling and control installation, and will have the opportunity to develop your technical expertise while contributing to the continued growth of the Geospatial department.\nWe are looking to recruit several roles, Junior and Senior, based on your experience as a Geospatial Surveyor.\nPrimary Locations\nCumbria\nKey responsibilities will includ e:\nUndertaking a range of geospatial surveys including:Topographical - total stations and GNSS\nLaser Scanning - terrestrial, handheld and vehicle mounted\nMeasured Building - traditional and laser scanner to GIS\nLevelling - precise levelling\nControl Installation - primary site control installation\n\nDepending on experience, leading and managing surveying projects and teams from planning to delivery\nProduce and review survey outputs using various software platforms:Terrestrial survey observations office adjustment software\nPoint cloud adjustment and processing software\nAutoCAD\nArcGIS\n\nSupervise Junior Surveyors and provide guidance and training where required.\nWork safely, professionally and responsibly to a high standard\nMaintain survey equipment and ensure calibrations are in-date and operational readiness.\nContribute to the ongoing growth and development of the Geospatial department.\nSkills and Requirements:\nMinimum two years' experience working as a Geospatial Surveyor.\nHold a university degree (or equivalent) in a subject closely related to Geomatics/Geospatial.\nA high degree of competence and experience in using total stations, GNSS, digital levels and laser scannersStrong knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, survey processing softwareStrong health and safety awareness and commitment to safe systems of work.\nGood communication and organisational skills.\nFull UK driving licence.\nBPSS Security Clearance is a pre-requisite to the role.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3811,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":2,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Flexible schedule","Parental leave","Professional development"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United Kingdom","iso":"GB","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Military Logistics","Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)","Engineering Services"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-12T15:39:40Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"GB","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"Licensed UK visa sponsor (Skilled Worker, Senior or Specialist Worker)","filings_12m":null,"filings_prev_12m":null,"green_card_filings_12m":null,"median_offered_wage_usd":null,"route":"Skilled Worker;
