IAW AR 190-11.\nEnsures that equipment received is stored in the proper location and documentation is posted in AWRDS within the required time.\nLocate, retrieve and issue weapons to maintenance for service or repair ensuring the proper documentation is correct and the weapons are signed over to authorized personnel.\nMaintain accountability of weapons accessories, which include ensuring all BII & AAL is on hand, or on ordered.\nEnsures that weapons are properly received, tagged and secured in order to maintain positive control.\nMaintain the storage area in clean and orderly fashion.\nEnsure weapons are store in a configuration designated by management and maintained.\nPlan, prioritize and execute weapon repair missions as directed by the Supervisor.\nService and repair US military firearms IAW TM’s. Properly document services performed.\nVerify that all services performed are properly documented.\nApply FAM’s, MAM’s, SOUM’s and MWO’s as required.\nDirect and conduct packing operations for outbound shipments as directed by the Logistics Manager or Storage Supervisor.\nLocate, retrieve and issue/transport weapons for turn-in or issue in accordance with MROs, Taskers or directives from management.\nReceive, store, and sort unserviceable equipment and supplies for turn-in.\nVerify, and sort, incoming weapons for storage. Enforce all security requirements under AR 190-11, 13 & 51 and other applicable security requirements.\nExamine and inspect storage crates and racks for serviceability.\nCompile and maintain reports on location changes, issues, receipts, and shipping.\nMove or transports weapons or supplies to other sections (as necessary), using Pallet Jack, Forklift or industrial truck.\nEnsure all movements of sensitive items are record in AWRDS\nMaintain inventory and other stock records for material, equipment, and product stored, i.e. Barrel, BII and Plates.\n Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.\nMinimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nMust be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.\nAttendance at a formal one to two year accredited in-house gun-smiting course, or equivalent work experience.\nFour (4) years of experience in the repair of US military small arms to include crew served weapons and have been working in an Armorer position within the last 2 years.\nMust have a valid certificate for MOS schools and/or GSA/OEM Factory Certifications as stipulated below in Preferred\nApplicant should be thoroughly familiar with US military Technical Manuals.\nMust have or be able to obtain licenses/certifications as needed to perform duties.\nMust have a valid and current state driver’s license.\nMust be able to complete paperwork associated with the position as required\nExcellent written communications skills\nMust possess working knowledge of word processing and integrated software applications\nAbility to perform detail oriented work as required\nMust have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.\nMust have the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.\nPosition may require travel.\nAbility to work in a team environment\nPreferred Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:\nExperience working with U.S. Army combat and tactical equipment preferred.\nValid US Army MOS 45 Bravo, 93 Juliet or USMC MOS 2111 certificate and/or GSA/OEM Factory Armorer certifications for required weapons\nWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:\nMust be able to lift 50 lbs with or without accommodation.\nMust utilize all proper lifting procedures and practices.\nMust wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)\nMust be able to work at heights.\nMust be able to climb in and out of vehicles of various sizes and heights\nMust be able to work under pressure and strenuous conditions.\nMust be able to meet short suspense dates.\nMust be able to conduct work in the out-of-doors area with potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions (i.e. extreme temperatures, high humidity, rain and blowing dust).\nMust be able to withstand prolonged periods of stooping; climbing; standing; and sitting for long periods of uninterrupted time.\nMay require shift work.\nMay be required to work an uncommon tour of duty including nights, weekends, and holidays.\nDuring the usual work period, the worker may be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are distracting and uncomfortable.\nOther Responsibilities:\nSafety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
