facility HVAC equipment and systems; pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems;\nMust be familiar with and have experience troubleshooting and repairing boilers, chillers, air handling units, rooftop units, cooling towers, and all HVAC related valves, controls, and systems.\nMust be familiar with BAS and BMS systems, such as Johnson Controls, Siemens, and Schneider Electric.\nMust be familiar with and able to troubleshoot and repair all types of refrigerant and refrigeration systems, including and licensed to perform refrigerant application and reclaiming.\nConduct preventive maintenance inspections and perform required preventive maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc.\nTroubleshoot and repairs blowers and fans.\nTroubleshoot and repairs heat exchange equipment.\nPerform basic pipefitting repairs.\nCoordinates work with others in discipline group and other discipline groups on the project.\nResponsible for neatness and accuracy of work.\nMay perform lab work, equipment set-up, testing and repair, quantity take-off, data entry and/or model construction utilizing prescribed techniques.\nUnder limited direction, may work in a lead position of complex technical work utilizing a wide variety of resources, including computers and under limited supervision.\nMay train other technicians.\nMay prepare formal reports on experiments, tests, and other projects.\nProvides technical guidance and assistance to less experienced personnel.\nResponsible for travelling to client sites to support Amentum site operations teams\nMust have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities, schedules and budgets\nWork independently as part of an integrated team and display high self-motivation and integrity.\nHave the ability to maintain an exceptional level of organization and time management skills\nMust have good work ethics and be available on nights and weekends as required to accommodate operational needs.\nExperience using a variety of office software, including: MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Excel, MS Share Point, and MS outlook\n\nMinimum Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.\n6 years experience\n\nAdditional Information:\nQualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.\nThis position may require a valid Driver’s License.\nThis position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.\nThis position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location.\nThis position may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nRequires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.\nRequires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift.\nRequires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift.\nRequires the ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift.\nRequires the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift.\nRequires the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift.\nRequires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.\nRequires the use of a Company/Client approved utility knife. \nRequires the ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding.\nSome tasks will require repetitive wrist movement.\nRequires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.\n\nWork Environment:\nThis position requires 80% travel , working from multiple Amentum office spaces and client site locations to also include remote office locations. \nTravel can be 1 to 2 week intervals, planned, sequenced, or back to back\nTravel and support needs as well as client locations can vary significantly with planning and notifications being limited at times based on customer and operational priorities\nAll work related travel expenses are re-imbursed by the company\nWeekend work and overtime related to travel work is common.\nSpecial Requirements:\nWear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.\nCope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.\n\nOther Attributes:\nMust be willing to work overtime when required.
