We value positive mental health and a sense of belonging for all employees.\nAmentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, please refer to our Enterprise Agreement and www.fairwork.gov.au for more information\nRole Description:\nWe are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major package of works within Area 1 of the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard (NPSCY) Program.\nThis is a significant leadership opportunity to manage the planning, coordination and execution of complex infrastructure and construction projects that form part of one of Australia's most strategically important national programs.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality and regulatory standards. Area 1 includes the delivery of production facilities, support facilities, site infrastructure and associated enabling works.\nAs Project Manager, you will be accountable for the successful delivery of assigned Area 1 project scope from design and procurement through construction, commissioning and handover.\nYou will work closely with engineering, commercial, construction, project controls and contractor teams to drive delivery outcomes and achieve key program milestones. Area 1 delivery performance is managed through integrated schedule, cost, risk, change and governance processes, requiring strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the end-to-end delivery of Area 1 projects and work packages.\nDevelop and execute project delivery strategies aligned with program objectives.\nManage scope, schedule, cost and quality performance against approved baselines.\nLead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate internal and external stakeholders.\nOversee contractor and supplier performance to ensure delivery commitments are achieved.\nManage interfaces between design, procurement, construction, commissioning and operational stakeholders.\nDrive proactive risk identification, mitigation and issue resolution.\nSupport project governance by providing accurate reporting, forecasts and performance insights.\nEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, technical, regulatory and assurance requirements.\nLead project change management activities and assess impacts to cost, schedule and scope prior to approval.\nSupport commissioning, testing and handover activities to achieve operational readiness and acceptance requirements. \nEssential Requirements:\nDemonstrated experience delivering major capital projects valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars.\nProven capability managing complex project lifecycles from planning through to commissioning and handover.\nStrong understanding of project controls including scheduling, cost management, risk management and reporting.\nExperience managing engineering, construction and contractor delivery teams.\nExcellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.\nStrong commercial and contract management capability.\nExperience working within structured governance and assurance frameworks.\nDesirable Requirements:\nExperience within defence, maritime, infrastructure, energy or major government programs.\nKnowledge of commissioning and operational readiness processes.\nRelevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related
