You'll also provide research and analysis of various technologies, capabilities, military strategies, assessments, and acquisition pathways to close material gaps. This position will identify experimentation focus areas, inform experiment integration efforts within exercises, and help develop and identify new capabilities across the Theater Army portfolio.\nThe ever-increasing demands associated with emerging capability needs to compete and counter threat systems in the Pacific AOR requires non-traditional approaches to properly posture units to meet mission critical requirements. You will support innovative approaches to integrating emerging technologies as well as close coordination with PACOM J8, Service Components, research labs, industry, OSW, and Joint Staff to bring enduring solutions into the theater.\nPrimary Roles and Responsibilities:\nAid senior-level strategic planning, discussions, and briefings to include development of innovative approaches to address service component gaps regarding novel, multi-domain, and/or autonomous solutions for experimentation.\nCoordinate various technologies with mission partners and operational units to align experiment activities within the USARPAC exercise series known as Operation Pathways.\nUtilize experience and knowledge to execute the Pacific Innovation & Persistent Experimentation LINEup (PIPELINE).\nNavigate complex organizational structures to assist in determining roadmaps that may lead to capability solutions relevant to USARPAC priorities.\nSupport shall include reviewing experiment funding and gathering and compiling related data and recommending prioritization of innovation-related funding requirements.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nApproximately 25% travel annually, both to Mainland U.S. and Allied and Partner nations, in support of conferences, planning sessions, and exercises.\nMinimum Requirements:\nBachelor's degree\nAt least 10 years of combined experience in conventional and/or unconventional military operations, capability development and/or policy.\nAt least 3 years of experience at a Combatant Command or Service Component HQ. \nAt least 3 years of experience in the Indo-Pacific Area of Operations.\nFamiliar with USARPAC Theater Campaign Plan, PACOM Theater Campaign Plan (TCP), Deliberate and Crisis Action Plans, and Operations Plans (OPLANS).\nFamiliar with the U.S. Army’s Multi Domain Operations doctrine and future Army Operating Concept of 2040.\nFamiliar with the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) associated activities in support of multi- and bi-lateral exercises.\nExperience in writing reports, graphics, and information papers.\nExperience in writing reports, graphics, and information papers.· \nExperience analyzing operational data applicable to experiment assessments (MOEs/MOPs).· \nProficient at Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).· \n Familiar with Artificial Intelligence tools to improve daily work flows and gain efficiencies to add value to client requirements. \nMust have an active Top-Secret clearance and be SCI eligible. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster's Degree and/or attendance at Service Command and General Staff College.\nExperience coordinating with other Department of War (DoW) entities, including the Joint Staff, the Office of the Secretary of War, and USPACOM's Service Components as well as non-DoW organizations to include industry, academia, and foreign partners & allies.\nExperience with organization of the Army Modernization Enterprise to include Portfolio Acquisition Executives, Capability Portfolio Executives, and Transformation & Training Command (labs, future capability directorates, capability managers).\nFamiliar with USARPAC’s Operation Pathways and PACOM’s priority exercises.\n· *Please note this is a contingent position based on funding*\nCompensation & Benefits\nHIRING SALARY RANGE: $135k - $155k(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)\nThis position includes a competitive benefits package.
