Our team has supported an impressive range of clients, including Audi, Boeing, BMW, Fiat Chrysler, Ford, Honda, General Motors, NASA, the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Department of Energy, Volkswagen, and organizations throughout North America, Europe, and Asia.\nJob Description:\nCore tasks include day to day calibration and repair of basic electronic systems related to test equipment.\nAccurate and timely completion of instrumentation calibrations, repairs, and builds.\nAccurate documentation and database entry on a daily basis\nPlan calibration schedule and facilitate communication with operations team\nCalibrate pressure transducers, transmitters, current shunts, battery cyclers, load cells, and handheld/bench top test instruments such as multimeters, process calibrators, thermometers, etc...\nMaintain instrumentation equipment, in a state of readiness, to support test programs.\nOperational test support through troubleshooting and root cause analysis\nAbility to work independently, be highly organized, self-motivated with the ability to adapt to an ever-changing work environment.\nAbility to think through a situation and see the \" big picture \" . How do your actions affect the client, fellow employees, and data deliverables.\nForward thinking - adapting the facility for the technology of the future - Excellent interpersonal skills.\nPosition Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma\nMinimum of two (2) years of related experience with instrumentation\nAbility to operate hand and power tools.\nOperational knowledge of instrumentation equipment related to test systems\nExperience with computer based database applications.\nAn understanding of vehicle powertrain, power supply, and vehicle electrical system operation with an emphasis on High Voltage / HEV / BEV applications a plus\nA working knowledge of instrumentation measurement systems, particularly transducers and their operation - temperature, pressure, fluid flow,\nKnowledge of electronic fabrication and experience building wiring harnesses\nUnderstanding of circuit design and experience troubleshooting electronics.\nSkilled with circuit board design and construction, as well as understanding of electrical testing schemes, preferably with battery testing experience\nA candidate with a technical aptitude driven to get into the technical details of electrical designs and understand how they work\nStrong technical aptitude specifically in the area of electrical signals and reading schematics\nKnowledge of automotive electrical subsystems, sensors and wiring required\nStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.\nOther\nGood organizational, interpersonal, and communication (verbal and written) skills\nAbility to handle multiple simultaneous tasks, and adjust to changing requirements\nHigh energy, self-starter, with ability and desire to take responsibility and deliver results with minimal supervision.\nAbility and courage to effectively communicate key issues and recommendations to senior management\nAbility to work within diverse environments\nHigh integrity with good attitude and strong work ethic\nTake ownership of projects and ensure proper follow-up to completion\nCompensation Details:\nN/AThe compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
