As an Intelligence Planner supporting DIA, you'll integrate Defense and National intelligence capabilities, collection, analysis, and targeting, into operational planning across the Department of Defense. This position is contingent upon award of contract, business needs, security clearance verification, and funding availability.\nLocation: National Capital Region (NCR)\nWork Schedule: 0600 and 1800 - 8 hours M-F\nEssential Responsibilities:\nIntegrate collection, analytic, and targeting capabilities into overarching operational planning efforts across the DoD\nSupport development of campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time-sensitive planning in accordance with the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES)\nAssist with red teaming and intelligence operations feasibility assessments within the planning process\nPrepare planning documents, written products, and executive briefings for government decision makers\nCollaborate with analysts, collection managers, and operational planners across organizational boundaries\nMinimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):\nActive TS/SCI clearance\n8+ years of relevant intelligence or operational planning experience, with recent experience within the last 2 years\nBachelor's degree in a related field\nWorking knowledge of JOPES and the joint planning process\nAbility to work independently and communicate clearly with both intelligence professionals and operational planners\nSecurity Clearance Required:\nActive Top Secret/SCI security clearance\nMinimum Education:\nBachelor's degree in a related field\nMinimum Years of Experience:\n8+ years of relevant intelligence or operational planning experience, with recent experience within the last 2 years\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrior DIA or IC planning experience\nJoint staff or Combatant Command J2/J5 experience\nRelevant planning certifications or joint professional military education\nAs part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, Amentum is a drug-free workplace and requires all personnel to comply with company drug and alcohol policies as a condition of employment.
