As an Intelligence Planner supporting DIA, you'll integrate Defense and National intelligence capabilities, collection, analysis, and targeting, into operational planning across the Department of Defense. When a campaign plan comes together or a crisis breaks, your work is what makes intelligence show up on time and on target. At the senior level, you'll do this work at its highest degree of difficulty, and you'll multiply your impact by leading and mentoring the team around you. This position is contingent upon award of contract, business needs, security clearance verification, and funding availability.\nLocation: National Capital Region (NCR)\nWork Schedule: 0600 and 1800 - 8 hours M-F\nEssential Responsibilities:\nLead intelligence planning support for complex, high-visibility planning efforts, from deliberate campaign planning to no-notice crisis response\nServe as the senior contractor voice in planning forums, advising government leads on intelligence feasibility, risk, and integration\nMentor mid-level planners and build repeatable planning processes the whole team can execute\nSupport program transition activities and stand up planning support on new task orders\nShape red team efforts and feasibility assessments that stress-test plans before they go live\nMinimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):\nActive TS/SCI clearance\n12+ years of relevant intelligence or operational planning experience, with recent experience within the last 2 years\nMaster's degree desired in a related field\nDemonstrated leadership of planning teams or planning support efforts\nDeep command of JOPES, joint doctrine, and the intersection of intelligence and operations\nSecurity Clearance Required:\nActive Top Secret/SCI security clearance\nMinimum Education:\nMaster's degree desired in a related field\nMinimum Years of Experience:\n12+ years of relevant intelligence or operational planning experience, with recent experience within the last 2 years\nPreferred Qualifications:\nDIA or Defense Intelligence Enterprise experience\nProgram transition support experience\nAdvanced planning certifications or senior-level joint education\nAs part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, Amentum is a drug-free workplace and requires all personnel to comply with company drug and alcohol policies as a condition of employment.
