Failure to provide evidence may result in exclusion from further evaluation.\nMaster Degree (or higher) in any of the following: Project Management, Program Management, Engineering Management, Business Administration (MBA), Management Studies, or a closely related discipline relevant to the delivery of complex technology and engineering projects.\nBachelor Degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Computer Science, Systems Science or equivalent technical discipline.\nHold, or be able to demonstrate immediate eligibility to obtain, a recognised professional project management accreditation such as PMP, CPPM, CPPP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP Practitioner or equivalent.\nDemonstrated minimum of 15 years of Industry experience in Engineering or Project Management, preferably in ICT environments\nDemonstrated experience managing complex engineering, systems integration, ICT, C4I or Defence capability projects, preferably in a military C4 environment.\nHold, or be eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 security clearance (minimum), with the ability to obtain and maintain any higher clearance required by Defence.\nComplete any mandatory Defence or role-specific training requirements.\nHighly Desirable\nThe following criteria will be used to differentiate between candidates who satisfy the mandatory requirements:\nAdvanced project management accreditation through AIPM, PMI, PRINCE2, MSP, MoP or equivalent professional bodies.\nDemonstrated experience managing Defence systems integration, interoperability, standards implementation, architecture, verification and validation, or capability assurance projects.\nDemonstrated experience delivering projects within Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP), Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), or equivalent engineering governance frameworks.\nDemonstrated experience in Defence acquisition, sustainment, systems engineering, integration, test and evaluation, communications, ICT, battle management or C4I environments.\nExperience managing projects involving open architectures, interoperability standards, military sensor systems, tactical communications networks, or software-enabled capability systems.\nDemonstrated knowledge of PMBOK, PMMv2, Agile delivery methodologies and Defence project governance frameworks.\nExtensive experience providing strategic advice to senior Defence, APS, military and industry stakeholders.\nProven record of delivering complex engineering outcomes through multidisciplinary teams in high-risk or technically complex environments.\nDesirable\nThe following criteria are advantageous but not essential:\nMember of Engineers Australia\nMember of the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM), Project Management Institute (PMI), or equivalent professional body.\nPrevious ADF service or significant Defence industry experience.\nExperience with the Defence Capability System (DCS), One Defence Capability System, CASG governance processes, or Army capability delivery frameworks.\nExperience managing teams comprising APS, military personnel, contractors and industry partners.\nExperience managing engineering teams of fewer than 10 personnel across multiple locations.\nFamiliarity with Defence ICT accreditation, cyber security accreditation, and security governance processes.\nUnderstanding of Defence architecture, interoperability and standards frameworks.\nExperience supporting Army Headquarters (AHQ), CASG, CIOG, DSTG, Joint Capabilities Group, or Army capability programs.\nFamiliarity with Defence procurement, approvals, and investment governance processes.\nRequired Security Clearance Level: Minimum of NV1.
