As NASA’s largest engineering solutions provider working together with NASA at centers across the United States.\nWe have an exciting opportunity for a IVA Spacesuit Project Manager to join the team with Oceaneering, a teammate company!\nWe are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead the development, integration, testing, certification, and delivery of Intravehicular Activity (IVA) spacesuit systems supporting human-rated spacecraft and crewed spaceflight missions. This individual will oversee multidisciplinary engineering teams responsible for the design and lifecycle management of IVA spacesuits and associated crew equipment while ensuring technical excellence, schedule adherence, budget performance, and compliance with human-rating requirements.\nThe ideal candidate brings extensive experience managing complex aerospace programs involving IVA spacesuits, pressure garments, crew systems, and human spaceflight hardware.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nLead all phases of IVA spacesuit development from concept through certification, production, and operational support.\n\nManage project scope, cost, schedule, technical performance, and risk across multiple integrated workstreams.\n\nDirect multidisciplinary teams including systems, mechanical, electrical, materials, software, thermal, manufacturing, human factors, safety, quality, test, and mission operations engineering.\n\nCoordinate technical integration between IVA spacesuits and spacecraft systems, including crew interfaces, seats, environmental control systems, avionics, communications, and emergency systems.\n\nEnsure compliance with human-rating standards and customer requirements.\n\nLead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and coordinate across internal organizations, suppliers, customers, and government agencies.\n\nDevelop project execution plans, Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), budgets, and resource forecasts.\n\nManage contract performance, subcontractors, Statements of Work (SOW), deliverables, and customer reporting.\n\nLead risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution.\n\nSupport major design reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, FRR, and Certification Reviews.\n\nPresent technical and program status to executive leadership and customers.\n\nDrive continuous improvement in program execution, technical performance, and team collaboration.\n\nAdditional job duties as required\n\nRequisition Qualifications:\nThis position has been posted at multiple levels.
