Note: Must be a United States citizen or Permanent Resident.\nTypical Responsibilities Include:\nPerforms a variety of standard, day-to-day janitorial duties, inside and outside assigned building, as well as periodic clean-up and prep assignment projects relating to base housing and barracks.\nMaintains general cleanliness of restroom facilities. Uses proper cleaning agents to maintain the cleanliness of sinks and commode systems and other lavatory equipment.\nUnder general supervision, sweeps, vacuums, shampoos, mops, strips, and waxes carpet, tile, cement, and linoleum floors, as applicable.\nClean and apply appropriate measures to lamanent flooring. \nDust and clean interior surfaces.\nCleans windows internally and externally.\nProvide housekeeping as assigned, to include all of the above to housing and barracks to assure cleanliness prior to occupancy.\nReads Job Hazard Task Analysis for identifying risks to health and safety during job specific tasks in the work place.\nReads and follows Safety Data Sheet guidelines for handling, storage, and disposal of Hazardous Materials.\nMaintains up to date SDS documents for all chemicals used, as well as maintaining supplies inventory and timely ordering of supplies.\nMixes various compounds used in the cleaning of building.\nPerform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees.\nPerform all work in compliance with environmental permits and regulations.\nReports potential and known safety and environmental concerns to the appropriate personnel or department.\nMay be required to work overtime.\nBe at work when scheduled and maintain a good attendance record.\nAbility to work a flexible schedule and shift work.\nMay occasionally perform other duties of higher or lower level of difficulty as assigned. \nMinimum Requirements:\nMust be 18 years of age or older.\nMust have a high school diploma/equivalent.\nMust be willing and able to be at work when scheduled, maintain a good attendance record and willing to work overtime if required.\nMust also be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of government security clearance as well as a clearance through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms and be favorably vetted through the NCIC III System.\nWilling and able to wear various levels of personal protective equipment.\nGood writing and verbal communication skills.\nMust be able to operate a computerized based terminal and have a working knowledge of common software applications.\nMust maintain fitness-for-duty standards to perform the essential functions of the position, to include any HWAD drill, contingency and/or emergency requirement.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain all required training as outlined in Amentum’s Master Training Plan.\nMust be able to perform work duties, routinely, in a safe and effective manner, remaining alert and aware of potential work/safety hazards at all time, and especially alert while performing safety sensitive duties.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a valid State driver’s license.\n Must be able to obtain/maintain Hawthorne Army Depot (HWAD) site access. Note: Must be a United States citizen or Permanent Resident.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nSix (6) months of janitorial service experience preferred but not required.\nSafety:\nThis position is designated as non-safety sensitive position and is subject to the requirements of the HWAD Medical Surveillance Plan and Matrix and the HWAD A&D Program. As a condition of employment, candidates and incumbents must favorably complete a personnel security investigation, urinalysis testing, respiratory screening, and must meet and maintain personnel suitability and reliability requirements established by the Hawthorne Army Depot Commander and HWAD O&M contract requirements.\nBenefits:\nThis position falls under the local Union and comes with; medical , vision, dental, STD and life insurance, PTO-120 hours per year, accrued at 4.62 hours per pay period, Sick leave-One (1) hour of accrual for every thirty (30) hours worked, Paid Holidays-Eleven (11) per calendar year, 401K, and an employee stock option plan.\nCompensation Details:\n$22.59The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
