Ability to answer all customer inquiries regarding the same.\nAbility to manage the pool general appearance and cleanliness while providing continual lifeguard supervision and duties.\nAdditional knowledge/skills may be required by contract or assignment.\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nCurrent American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification\nCurrent CPR, First Aid, and AED Certifications.\nMinimum of one (1) year of lifeguarding experience at a public, commercial, military, or recreational aquatic facility.\nAbility to successfully complete a pre-employment swim skills assessment.\nStrong knowledge of water rescue techniques, emergency response procedures, and aquatic safety practices.\nAbility to remain alert and maintain concentration for extended periods.\nAbility to obtain and maintain required installation access and contract credentials.\nMust be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.\nPassport must be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.\nAbility to obtain country-specific visas per the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.\nAbility to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance throughout the duration of deployment.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. \nEmployees must read, speak, and comprehend English to the extent that they can perform the contract requirements and comply with installation emergency procedures.\n.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrior experience working in an austere OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) environment with a multi-national workforce\nA valid driver’s license to legally operate a motor vehicle.\nWater Safety Instructor certification.\nExperience conducting swim lessons, fitness programs, or recreational water activities.\nOther Responsibilities:\nSafety: Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment. Employees may work in office, industrial, warehouse, port, airfield, and outdoor environments and may be exposed to high temperatures, humidity, inclement weather, noise, dust, and uneven terrain. Work schedules may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on operational requirements.\nPhysical Requirements\nRequirements may include prolonged sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, and working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
