The Maintenance Analyst will work closely with maintenance teams to collect data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations to improve equipment performance and efficiency. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nConducting detailed analysis of maintenance programs, schedules, and activities to identify inefficiencies, trends, and areas for improvement.\nMonitoring fleet and equipment performance data to assess maintenance needs and develop strategies for optimizing equipment uptime and reliability.\nEvaluating and recommending adjustments to maintenance plans, schedules, and procedures to align with operational goals and manufacturer guidelines.\nDeveloping and maintaining maintenance reporting systems, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.\nPreparing maintenance performance reports, identifying trends, and providing data-driven insights to inform decisions and improve operations.\nConducting root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and developing corrective and preventive maintenance strategies.\nSupporting the development, implementation, and supervision of predictive and preventive maintenance programs.\nReviewing equipment and component maintenance history to identify trends and forecast future maintenance requirements.\nEnsuring compliance with maintenance standards and operational policies in accordance with manufacturer specifications and organizational guidelines.\nCollaborating with maintenance supervisors, technicians, and management to identify training needs, improve workflows, and track performance metrics.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\n Three (3) years of experience in maintenance analysis, planning, or a related role involving data analysis and operational optimization.\nKnowledge of maintenance processes, concepts, and industry standards, particularly with equipment and system reliability.\nExperience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or other maintenance tracking tools.\nProficiency in data analysis and maintenance performance reporting to identify and resolve operational inefficiencies.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.\nAbility to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain physical readiness for the duration of deployment.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.\nEmployees must read, speak, and comprehend English to the extent that they can perform the contract requirements and comply with installation emergency procedures.\nPassport must be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.\nAbility to obtain country-specific visas per the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.\nAbility to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance throughout the duration of deployment.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Maintenance Management, or related technical field.\nExperience in military, government, or large-scale civilian maintenance operations.\nAdvanced certifications in maintenance or reliability management (e.g., Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or equivalent).\nExperience working in remote locations, OCONUS environments, or austere conditions with multi-national workforces.\nStrong technical expertise with maintenance-related data analysis tools, including programs such as MS Excel, Power BI, or specialized analytics platforms.\nOTHER RESPONSIBILITIES\nSafety: Amentum promotes a safety-first work environment, requiring all employees to comply with safety policies and complete training to maintain workplace safety during all activities.\nQuality: Employees must adhere to Amentum’s Quality Management System to ensure all operations align with the company's standards and contractual requirements.\nProcedure Compliance: Employees must understand and follow all operational, safety, and environmental policies and practices as outlined by organizational guidelines or customer contracts.\nWorking Environment\nThis position is located on Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT), a remote overseas location supporting U.S. Government operations. Employees may work in office, industrial, warehouse, port, airfield, and outdoor environments and may be exposed to high temperatures, humidity, inclement weather, noise, dust, and uneven terrain. Work schedules may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on operational requirements.\nPhysical Requirements\nRequirements may include prolonged sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, and working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
