Arranges for in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules, and with department supervisors for repair and assembly of material and its transportation to various departments.\n\nEnsure proper logistics support is maintained and problems identified. Maintain related records, review inventory reports, and work orders to determine types, quantities, and availability of required material. Monitor and provide additional Supply Section Support, as required. Receive, store, and issue hand tools, tool kits, replacement parts, shop supplies and related equipment, such as measuring devices.\n\nMaintain record of tools issued to and returned by workers, searches for lost or misplaced tools, prepares periodic inventory or keeps perpetual inventory and requisitions stock as needed, unpacks and stores new equipment. Attach identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment using electric marking tool.\n\nManually load or unload freight cars, trucks, or other transporting devices; unpacks, shelves, or places items in proper storage locations. Visually inspect tools or measures with micrometer for wear or defects and reports damaged or worn-out equipment to superiors. Verify materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\n\nTwo or more years of Material Coordinator experience.\n\nTwo or more years in support of aviation supply.\n\nMust be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization**NAC-I T1 Public Trust. Note: US Citizenship is required for a facility credentials/authorization at the work location.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in ACN (Aircraft Notebook), GCSS-Army, or equivalent US-Army supply system.\n\nWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:\nWork typically in semi-office, hanger, and/or open surroundings.\n\nMay be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail and are exposed to fumes or airborne particles and electrical shock hazards.\n\nLong hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.\n\nMay be required to see aircraft in flight, read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.\n\nMust be able to type using a standard keyboard to communicate through e-mail and various software applications.\n\nCompensation Details:\n$27.78The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
