Must be self-motivated and demonstrate the strong organizational/time management skills needed to be successful in this role. Must have the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot industrial facility equipment and systems such as HVAC, Compressors, Chillers, boilers, robotics, pumps, bearings, blowers, fans, gearboxes, air handlers and other equipment as required. Perform all aspects of preventive and corrective electrical / mechanical maintenance on all facility related industrial systems including, but not limited to: HVAC, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyor systems, filtration systems, and coolant systems.\nThe Mechanical Maintenance Technician must have the ability to identify and correct any safety-related issues and perform independent equipment evaluations to identify potential equipment failures. General Maintenance of equipment will also be required.\nResponsibilities:\nSafely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tagout procedures and wearing PPE as required.\n\nUnderstands company policies and enforces safety regulations.\n\nA strong electrical skill set is required, including experience with control systems and 480V systems.\n\nPrior experience with air compressors, air dryers and HVAC systems in a production setting are required.\n\nDiagnoses, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs HVAC machinery, cooling systems, pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems; conveyors; overhead cranes.\n\nConduct preventive maintenance inspections and perform required preventative maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, alignments, etc.\n\nPerforms preventive maintenance on process/production equipment as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).\n\nTroubleshoots and repairs heat exchange equipment.\n\nAble to weld and fabricate.\n\nPerforms plumbing and hydraulic hose repairs.\n\nTroubleshoots and repairs electrical issues.\n\nSafely operates forklifts, hoists and cranes.\n\nUtilizes safe rigging and lifting techniques.\n\nResponds and provides service and feedback to the customer on all work orders while assuring compliance with codes, regulations and industry standards.\n\nRecommends measures to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance.\n\nAnalyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems\n\nOperates various measuring, diagnostic and testing instruments to help provide energy efficiency solutions.\n\nOperates a variety of equipment such as hand tools, laptop computers and diagnostic hardware to perform work.\n\nMaintains a strict schedule to be successful in the assignment yet demonstrates flexibility in the day-to-day activities and scheduling for the benefit of the customer.\n\nOther duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.\n\nMinimum Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.\n\nFive years of maintenance experience in one of the following trades or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience: Industrial HVAC/ Industrial Mechanical Machine Repair, or Automotive Repair.\n\nAbility to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher.\n\nMay require additional licensing per state regulations.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMillwright Certification\n\nAssociates degree or trade school certification in Industrial Mechanical, HVAC, or a related field.\n\nExperience working safely with 480-volt 3 phase electrical systems.\n\nExperience troubleshooting and repairing industrial facility mechanical equipment, including vacuum systems and RO/DI water systems.\n\nExperience troubleshooting and repairing large commercial or industrial HVAC/R equipment.\n\nExperience maintaining basic plumbing needs.\n\nWorking knowledge of all types and kinds of hand and power tools, air measuring instruments, various refrigeration equipment, various electrical meters, mergers, and shop equipment.\n\nExperience working in a CMMS environment.\n\nExperience in leading or supervising a team of maintenance personnel.\n\nAdvanced PLC experience, including troubleshooting and making program changes, such as, but not limited to, Allen Bradley, PLC-5, 500, and/or RS-5000.\n\nExperience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial systems such as heating units and HVAC equipment, conveyors, and coolant systems to OEM specifications.\n\nWelding and Fabricating experience\n\nExperience with alignments and timing machines using Precision calibration tools.\n\nExperience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing pumps, motors, gearboxes, supply and exhaust fans, power transmission components, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pneumatic handling systems.\n\nExperience performing vibration data collection and analysis and/or using ultrasound testing equipment for predictive maintenance and condition monitoring.\n\nExperience utilizing measurement tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, various type gauges, and calibers to set tolerances to OEM Specifications.\n\nAdditional Information:\nQualified applicants who are offered a
