This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy creative problem-solving, hands-on testing, and guiding components through rigorous qualification cycles.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop electrical test methods for high-reliability, radiation-hardened and trusted microelectronic components used across DoW strategic systems.\nCreate complete test packages, including test interface hardware, circuit schematics, PCB layouts, and automated test equipment (ATE) control software.\nDesign, simulate, and evaluate test circuits for characterization and performance validation.\nDesign and develop printed circuit boards and automated test programs.\nCollect test data, support reviews, and contribute sections of analysis and engineering design reviews.\nPrepare technical reports, specifications, documentation, and correspondence.\nTrack project development status and ensure compliance with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.\nCollaborate with customers during design reviews and technical working groups to ensure alignment with requirements.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience with microelectronics or electronic components.\nHands-on experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, meters, and analyzers.\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work effectively across multiple functional areas in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nWillingness to learn from senior engineers and contribute as a team player.\nUnderstanding of microelectronics concepts, theories, structures, and material properties.\nAbility to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance (U.S. citizenship required; interim clearance required to start).\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience testing microelectronic components.\nExperience with EDA tools such as Altium, Eagle, or LTSPICE.\nProgramming experience with Python, C, C++, Visual Basic, git, or LabVIEW.\nBasic analog or digital design experience for circuit boards or ASICs.\nUnderstanding of noise sources and repeatable measurement techniques.\nFamiliarity with microelectronic fabrication processes and techniques.\nActive Secret or Top-Secret clearance.\nCompensation Details:\n$120,000 - $190,000 annuallyThe compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
