Equipment may include HVAC units, Air Handling Units, Compressors, Conveyors, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical systems, and Controls\nResponsibilities:\nAssists the team by performing repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of equipment found in an Industrial Environment.\nPerforms preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC, units, Air Handling units, lighting systems and electrical equipment such as disconnects, faulty breakers etc.\nRepairs or replaces machine bearings, shafts, augers, chains, sprockets, machine guarding.\nOperates aerial and platform lifts. \nUnderstands and uses volt meters.\nAssists in the movement of machines/fixtures, materials, and equipment as required.\nReads and understands schematics, diagrams, and specifications.\nSafely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tagout procedures and wearing PPE as required.\nOther duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor\nMinimum Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.\nFive years of experience maintaining buildings, facilities or equipment in an industrial environment, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.\nAdditional Information:\nQualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.\nThis position may require a valid Driver’s License.\nThis position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.\nThis position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location.\nThis position may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nRequires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.\nRequires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift.\nRequires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift.\nRequires the ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift.\nRequires the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift.\nRequires the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift.\nRequires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.\nRequires the use of a Company/Client approved utility knife. \nRequires the ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding.\nSome tasks will require repetitive wrist movement.\nRequires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.\nSpecial Requirements:\nWear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.\nCope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAssociate’s degree or trade school certification in HVAC, Industrial Electrical, Industrial Mechanical, Industrial Technology, or a related field.\nExperience of working with HVAC Units and Air Handling Units.\nExperience working on CNC Machine tools\nExperience troubleshooting and repairing industrial lighting systems.\nExperience troubleshooting and repairing control systems and electrical systems.\nOther Attributes:\nMust be willing to work overtime when required.
