The Network Technician Site Lead will be responsible for conducting site surveys, creating survey reports and BOMs, and serving as the installation lead for each installation planned under the contract. The Network Technician Site Lead will be required to have multiple years of experience surveying facilities for WIDS-specific security system deployment, developing bills of material, installing WIDS, and managing personnel in an installation environment. Experience developing CAD drawings for wireless security systems and presenting site plans is expected. This position is contingent upon award of contract, business needs, security clearance verification, and funding availability.\nWork Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nConduct site surveys to assess facility requirements and installation readiness.\nDevelop site survey reports, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and installation documentation.\nLead installation teams during WIDS deployment activities.\nCoordinate with Program Management, engineering personnel, and customer representatives throughout the installation process.\nDevelop and review CAD drawings and site layouts supporting WIDS installations.\nEnsure installations comply with engineering standards, security requirements, and customer specifications.\nMonitor installation progress and resolve field issues to maintain project schedules.\nReview completed installation documentation and report deployment status to Program Management.\nMaintain accountability for installation quality, safety, and configuration management at assigned sites.\nWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: Office Setting, but may be required to install sensors and wiring, which requires climbing ladders and lifting up to 20 lbs.\nMinimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):\nExperience conducting site surveys for WIDS or similar technical security system deployments.\nKnowledge of WIDS installation practices, structured cabling, and secure facility requirements.\nExperience developing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical installation documentation.\nExperience developing and interpreting CAD drawings and site layouts.\nAbility to lead installation teams and coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders.\nStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to travel worldwide.\nSecurity Clearance Required:\nTS/SCI with Poly\nMinimum Education:\nBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience\nMinimum Years of Experience:\nMinimum of five (5) years of experience conducting site surveys and system installations.\nMinimum of three (3) years leading technical installation teams in DoD and/or Intelligence Community environments.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCISSP\nThis position is not designated as a safety-sensitive position.\nAs part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, Amentum is a drug-free workplace and requires all personnel to comply with company drug and alcohol policies as a condition of employment.
