We’re happy to discuss hybrid, part-time and flexible working hours, patterns and locations to suit you and our business.\nAbout the Opportunity\nAmentum Technology have some exciting opportunities with our Independent Assurance and regulations team and are looking for a talented and enthusiastic portfolio scheduler who is keen to cement our existing expertise in delivering projects to our key clients and encouraging the growth of our business in this sector.\nThe role is hybrid working with travel to Abbey wood, Bristol around 3 times per week. Consideration can also be given in respect to part time & flexible working hours.\nThe Portfolio Scheduler will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and management of portfolio schedules, ensuring effective planning, monitoring, and delivery of project and programme objectives.\nThe role requires intermediate to advanced expertise in Primavera P6, with a focus on managing dependencies, reporting, and analysis at both project and portfolio levels.\nKey Responsibilities\nThe Portfolio Scheduler will be expected to:\nDevelop, manage, and maintain portfolio-level schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with programme objectives and timelines across multiple projects.\n\nCreate and manage schedule baselines, ensuring all changes are controlled and documented through baseline change control processes.\n\nPerform regular updates to live schedules, ensuring accuracy and reflecting the latest project and portfolio status.\n\nConduct Schedule Variance Reporting to identify deviations from the baseline and provide insights into potential impacts at both project and portfolio levels.\n\nPerform Critical Path Analysis to identify key milestones and activities that may impact delivery timelines.\n\nCollaborate with project teams to ensure schedules are realistic, achievable, and aligned with resource availability.\n\nProvide regular schedule updates and reports to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of progress, and schedule risks.\n\nSupport the integration of schedules with other portfolio management tools and processes as required.\n\nHere's What You'll Need\nProven experience as a Primavera P6 planner, with the ability to create, manage, and analyse complex schedules at both project and portfolio levels.\n\nIntermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate data for reporting purposes.\n\nStrong understanding of schedule baseline creation and management, including baseline change control processes.\n\nExperience in maintaining live schedules and ensuring their accuracy.\n\nProficiency in Schedule Variance Reporting and Critical Path Analysis.\n\nExcellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic and changing environment.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.\n\nDesirable Skills and Experience (Training Provided):\nExperience using Microsoft SharePoint for document management and collaboration.\n\nBeginner to intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Visio for process mapping and diagram creation.\n\nBeginner to intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Planner for task and project tracking.\n\nReporting and Governance\nThe Portfolio Scheduler will report to the Change Programme Manager and will be required to provide regular updates on schedule status, risks, and issues.
