Amentum is seeking an accomplished Program Manager to lead a large, mission-critical intelligence support program for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). This executive leader will serve as the Government’s primary point of contact and provide strategic leadership for a geographically dispersed workforce supporting multiple Integrated Intelligence Centers (IICs) across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise.\nThe Program Manager will oversee all aspects of program execution, including mission performance, workforce management, customer engagement, quality assurance, financial management, transition activities, and operational excellence while ensuring exceptional support to the Government’s evolving intelligence priorities.\nLocation: National Capital Region (NCR)\nWork Schedule: 0600 and 1800 - 8 hours M-F\nEssential Responsibilities:\nServe as the primary interface with Government leadership.\nProvide executive leadership and strategic direction for all contract operations.\nLead technical, operational, staffing, financial, and business activities.\nManage workforce planning, recruiting, retention, succession planning, and employee development.\nOversee program performance, quality assurance, schedule, cost, and risk management.\nEnsure compliance with Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), Government policies, and contractual requirements.\nLead transition planning, surge operations, and workforce expansion efforts.\nProvide executive oversight to Team Leads supporting multiple regional and functional mission portfolios.\nFoster collaboration across Government, industry, and Intelligence Community stakeholders.\nPromote a mission-focused culture centered on operational excellence, accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.\nMinimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):\nActive Top Secret/SCI security clearance.\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (Master’s degree preferred).\nMinimum 15 years of progressively responsible leadership experience supporting the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or other national security organizations.\nDemonstrated experience serving as a Program Manager or Deputy Program Manager leading contracts supporting more than 200 full-time personnel (FTEs).\nDemonstrated experience supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE), Combatant Commands, Joint Staff, or other Intelligence Community organizations performing intelligence analysis, mission integration, collection management, or intelligence operations.\nDemonstrated success leading geographically dispersed workforces across multiple locations.\nProven experience managing staffing, recruiting, retention, customer relationships, quality assurance, financial performance, subcontractor management, and program risk.\nDemonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams while fostering employee engagement, professional development, and operational excellence.\nExceptional communication skills with experience briefing Senior Executive Service (SES), General Officers, Flag Officers, or equivalent senior Government leaders.\nSecurity Clearance Required:\nActive Top Secret/SCI security clearance\nMinimum Education: \nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (Master’s degree preferred).\nMinimum Years of Experience:\nMinimum 15 years of progressively responsible leadership experience supporting the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or other national security organizations.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience supporting DDGI, Integrated Intelligence Centers (IICs), or enterprise intelligence integration missions.\nExperience managing intelligence analysis or intelligence-enabling service contracts exceeding 500 FTEs.\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification.\nExperience leading large-scale contract transitions and workforce stand-up efforts.\nDemonstrated record of achieving exceptional employee retention, staffing performance, and customer satisfaction on Intelligence Community contracts.\nAs part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, Amentum is a drug-free workplace and requires all personnel to comply with company drug and alcohol policies as a condition of employment.
