As NASA’s largest engineering solutions provider working together with NASA at centers across the United States.\nWe have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager t o join the team with Intuitive Machines, a teammate company!\nThe Project Manager will:\nManages multiple projects funded from different programs.\nManages fluctuating priorities in different departments.\nPrepares resource estimates, loading, and phasing labor plans.\nCreates and maintains detailed master schedules and tracks milestone progress and completion.\nAssimilates timelines with knowledge of internal and external dependencies.\nServes as a focal point for stakeholder communication.\nTracks procurements with the goal of minimizing variances.\nPrepares summary dashboards for program customers.\nIdentifies, analyzes, mitigates, and documents project risks.\nEngages in program meetings.\nPrepares and presents monthly Technical, Cost, Schedule, and Risk (TCSR) reviews.\nPrepares Project Management Plan, Configuration Management Plan, and formal proposals.\nTracks and monitors service providers (i.e. software, IT infrastructure) to ensure requirements are met.\nPrepares financial estimates such as: cost of new projects, monthly projections.\nPerform other duties as assigned\nRequisition Qualifications:\nThis position has been posted at multiple levels. Depending on the candidate's experience, requirements, and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised.\nTypically requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering and normally possess 5- 10 years of related experience. License and certification may be required.\nBS degree in Science or Engineering from an accredited school and at least five (5) years of project management experience.\nThis role requires a self-directed, proactive individual with prior experience leading with minimal oversight.\nAbility to work independently and autonomously and track tasks and issues to completion.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills and will be expected to effectively interact with customers and management at all levels.\nPrior experience with Government and internal company financial reporting, including budgeting, forecasting and cost estimating.\nPrior experience managing and leading a team.\nProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.\nAbility to prepare written documents and to verbally present at various meetings.\nMust be able to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and schedules.\nSoft-skills to manage a variety of personnel with different personalities and strengths.\nRequisition Preferences:\nFamiliar with Johnson Space Center (JSC) organizations, processes, and procedures.\nKnowledge of spacecraft systems.\nPrevious experience with NASA Project Management processes under NPR 7120.5 or EA-023.\nPrevious experience with project scheduling.\nFamiliarity with Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project, or other PM software.\nCompensation:\nSalary starts at $98,500.
