This role requires strong leadership, expertise in quality assurance programs, and direct communication with senior corporate officials. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nQuality Management and Oversight:\nManaging and enforcing the Contractor’s Quality Management System (QMS) on all facets of the project to ensure compliance with contract requirements, policies, and best practices.\nEnsuring a presence on-site during the Government’s regular working hours and availability on-site within two hours after the Government’s regular working hours if required.\nOverseeing quality audits, inspections, and evaluations of work performed to confirm adherence to QMS procedures and industry standards.\nCollaborating with project teams to identify and address non-conformance issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain quality.\nReporting and Independence:\nReporting directly to a senior corporate official, maintaining independence from the Project Manager as required per contract guidelines.\nPreparing detailed reports summarizing quality assurance activities, findings, and corrective actions, ensuring senior leadership remains informed of contract compliance efforts.\nTeam Leadership and Training:\nLeading the quality team in the implementation of quality inspection protocols and QMS compliance measures.\nGuiding and mentoring quality assurance personnel on best practices, policies, and technical standards to maintain consistent performance across all quality operations.\nMinimum Requirements\nEducation:\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil, Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering/scientific field, based on a four-year course of study from an accredited U.S., U.K., or equivalent institution.\nEmployees must read, speak, and comprehend English to the extent that they can perform the contract requirements and comply with installation emergency procedures.\nPassport must be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.\nAbility to obtain country-specific visas per the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.\nAbility to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance throughout the duration of deployment.\n\nCertification and Experience:\nCurrent Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) certification or equivalent.\nAt least five (5) years of experience in preparing and enforcing QMS programs on contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity.\nDemonstrated ability to manage quality assurance programs and lead a multi-disciplinary team in a complex environment.\nStrong knowledge of quality management principles, including ISO standards and best practices for QMS implementation.\nOther Requirements:\nThe Quality Manager or designated alternate cannot be the same person as the SSHO (Site Safety and Health Officer).\nStrong verbal and written communication skills to effectively enforce quality measures, prepare reports, and collaborate with various stakeholders.\nExcellent leadership and problem-solving skills to address quality and compliance challenges effectively.\nAbility to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance for the duration of deployment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior experience in an austere OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) environment with a multi-national workforce.\nValid country driver's license.\nCountry visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide).\nExperience with U.S. Navy or Department of Defense contracts, particularly those requiring complex compliance measures.\nFamiliarity with construction and project management environments involving civil, industrial, electrical, or mechanical systems.\nAdvanced certifications related to quality control or project management, such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or PMP certification.\nOther Responsibilities\nSafety\nAmentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment. Employees may work in office, industrial, warehouse, port, airfield, and outdoor environments and may be exposed to high temperatures, humidity, inclement weather, noise, dust, and uneven terrain. Work schedules may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on operational requirements.\nPhysical Requirements\nRequirements may include prolonged sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, and working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
