The Recreation Services Coordinator is responsible for supporting all resale operations and recreational programs, ensuring continuity in customer service, compliance with safety requirements, and seamless service delivery.\nJob Responsibilities\n· Assist the Recreation Services Manager with the planning, coordination, and administration of all MWR (Morale, Welfare, and Recreation)\nprograms and services.\n· Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations for areas serving the public or involving hazardous materials, per CNICINST 1710.3 - Chapter 1, Section 114.\n· Obtain and maintain current certifications, including:\no Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.\no Certification as an American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Instructor.\n· Proficiently officiate sports events, which include but are not limited to Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, and Flag Football.\n·Support resale operations and assist in inventory management, supply chain tracking, and conduct analyses to maximize efficiency and profitability.\n· Develop and promote recreational activities using marketing strategies to engage military personnel and base residents.\n· Maintain customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service through training equivalent to the MWR Star Service, Achieving Extraordinary Customer Relations (AECR) program.\n· Document employee training and perform on-the-job training for new and existing staff to ensure compliance with customer service and safety standards.\n· Organize, schedule, and prepare recreational activities and events tailored to the interests and motivational needs of military communities.\n. Monitor the daily operation of recreational facilities, programs, and sports leagues to ensure they run efficiently and meet quality standards.\n· Be readily available during working hours and on-site within one hour for\ncontingencies or emergencies.\n· Perform other job-related duties as assigned that are consistent with the nature and level of the position.\nRequired Qualifications:\n· Four-year degree from an accredited college or university with a major study in one or more areas of appropriate fi eld of recreation\n· OR three (3) years of experience in military recreational services or equivalent civilian sector\n· Minimum of five (5) years of specialized experience in roles such as an NF-4 with a\nNon-Appropriated Funds Instrumentality (NAFI) or a middle manager role in a similar civilian operation. Certified American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Instructor.\n· Background in marketing strategies to promote recreational services.\n· Proficiency in officiating sports, including Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, and Flag Football.\n· Must be able to successfully complete and maintain all required training and certifications, including MWR Star Service/AECR, HAZMAT, CPR, First Aid, and local emergency procedures training, with annual re certification as required.\n· .\n· Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.\n· Must be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.\n· Passport must be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.\n· Ability to obtain country-specific visas per the U.S. Department of State Foreign\nClearance Guide.\n· Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain\ncompliance for the duration of deployment.\n· Must read, speak, and comprehend English to the extent that they can perform the contract requirements and comply with installation emergency procedures.\n Preferred Qualifications\n· Degree in Recreation, Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university.\n· Prior experience in MWR or military recreation programs.\n· Five years of specialized experience as NF-4 within a Non-Appropriated Funds\nInstrumentality (NAFI) or a similar middle-management role in civilian recreational services.\n· Proven operational expertise in managing recreational programs and facilities.\n· Experience in austere OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States)\nenvironments or working with multi-national workforces.\nOther Responsibilities:\nSafety: Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
