Security analysts should be knowledgeable regarding the federal adjudicative guidelines, able to balance revolving a caseload, comfortable providing case briefings and capable of conducting effective elicitative interviews, as needed. Candidate should be comfortable learning to use new proprietary computers systems and spending the majority of the work day using computers to review and generate reports.\nWork Schedule: 5 days, 8 hrs/day; hours must fall within 5:30am-6pm M-F\nEssential Responsibilities:\nSecurity Analysts must have:\nDemonstrated analytical ability and the ability to handle a medium to large, semi complex workload\nExcellent writing and communication, skills and good judgment\nDemonstrated high level of personal integrity and the ability to discreetly handle sensitive, personal and classified case information\nAbility to comprehend complex and multi-source data into succinct and supportable final reports\nKnowledge of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 704 or Security Executive Adjudicative Directive (SEAD) guidelines\nKnowledge and ability to use computer operating systems/tools such as Microsoft Office Suite\nExperience performing adjudicative support\nAbility to elicit information during an interview with minimal direction and work effectively with variety of individuals\nStrong time management\nIdentify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.\nWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:\nTypical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.\nMinimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):\nRequired Skills & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience 1 year additional work experience in a relevant field)\nA minimum of two years of experience as a background investigator or administering polygraph testing to qualify for entry level OR 1-7 years of experience performing security or suitability adjudications to qualify for mid-senior level\nSecurity Clearance Required: Must possess TS/SCI clearance with polygraph at time of application\nMinimum Education: HS Diploma or equivalent\nPreferred Qualifications: 3-5 years of relevant experience\nThis position is not designated as a safety sensitive position.\nAs part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, Amentum is a drug-free workplace and requires all personnel to comply with company drug and alcohol policies as a condition of employment.
