(Submarine Waterfront Infrastructure Future (SWIF) at Devonport)\nThe SWIF project is a critical infrastructure upgrade at HM Naval Base Devonport in Plymouth, Western Europe's largest naval support facility. Working within the engineering assurance team, the Civil Engineer will review designs, assess technical risks, support constructability reviews, and provide engineering insight to help ensure infrastructure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with programme objectives. This long term hybrid role and requires working on site at Plymouth 2 to 3 days per week.\nKey Responsibilities:\nEngineering Review and Assurance\nEngineering Risk Management\nConstructability and Delivery Support\nStakeholder Support\nTypical Deliverables:\nInputs to monthly technical assurance reports.\nTechnical review notes and observations.\nDesign review comments and recommendations.\nEngineering risk assessments.\nConstructability review inputs.\nTechnical briefing papers and presentations.\nContributions to programme governance reporting.\nAt Amentum, we're not just solving problems; we're engineering the future.
